Watched the video, it was kind of funny though. I mean American soldiers are known to disfigure, piss and take photographs with dead enemy combatants but this was right up there in the funny list.

I'm not justifying their actions. What they did was wrong. The cops came and arrested them. Turkey is a disciplined nation. We are known for offering hospitality. I wouldn't call them Ottoman warriors. These people are ultra-nationalists and pro-secularists. They oppose Islamism. Their anger towards Americans grew when American soldiers ambushed Turkish soldiers in Norther Iraq, put hoods over their heads and detained them. These yankees you are protecting committed the same crime that you are criticizing right now.

I've been to Turkey often enough to know that the cops don't tolerate this kind of crap. I simply questioned where the cops where since they usually are quick at the scene of any brawl (well Istanbul anyways).

Unfortunately, their logic is different. They said he was in the US military so they declared him a murderer and said he had no right on the Turkish soil. They oppose NATO presence in Turkey. They are just thugs.
