US Leaders With Dual Israeli Citizenship

If you notice they have a tendency to change their names to more American sounding ones.

Didn't seems so. We have few Israeli professors, they were pretty successful is forming a favorable opinion towards their community and Israel. Often in our recess time, we talk about Israel-India politics in his office. It doesn't seems like they're running into trouble in near-far term. It's only going to get better for them.

I never heard of recess time at a University course. He may be successful convincing some Indians of supporting Israel during 'recess time' and no doubt others. Although you're looking at it from one perspective. Because most Universities are not so pro-Israel. The largest student organizations boycotted Israeli settlements as well.

It has reached a peak for them. Unless Israel embraces a two state solution.

Well, I US law permits dual nationality than we should have no objection.

I object, Jew or not, nobody with a dual citizenship should be allowed to hold a political leadership position in the US. You can't lead one country while at the same time favoring another.

Funny question, can he run for presidency? He was born while his father was an ambassador so, it was a result under duty, not willingly

No, he wasn't born on US soil that I know of.

I honestly don't know for sure...I would have to read the law regarding US citizens born overseas.

Well, problem is, the United States of America is a country of immigrants, right from its birth. While what you are saying is something I personally agree with, it would be difficult to implement in practice, unless of course, if the US freezes up the immigration and wait until the first two generations of the immigrants ended up in their graves.

No, he wasn't born on US soil that I know of

Neither was John McCain he was born in Panama on a US naval ship (considered US territory), so it could depend whether Rep. Van Hollen was born on US territory in Karachi. I think the law may exempt children born of US government personnel parents like military or in this case the Foreign service. Though I'm not a lawyer and the law can get a bit murky about the criteria.

If there is another list of politicians and officials as well as prominent Americans receiving Israeli financial and other support, then USA could truly be called a country remote controlled from Tel Aviv.

This might be true if your assertions about dual-citizenship were true. Your assertions are categorically false, so no worries. What is your intent in smearing the US in this way?

No worries, because asad71 just took a list of Jews (and Jewish-sounding names, like Robert Zoellick, even though he's Lutheran), and fabricated a lie about their loyalties. He probably got this list from Stormfront.

As it is USA is getting smeared right and left, day and night all over the world. A humble nobody like me makes no difference. However, my intention was simply to place before you and members the facts as they are. Nothing false here. Read some posts above and you will get the truth.

You have provided neither sources nor proof. You won't be able to provide proof, because it's simply not true.

I agree that your claim makes no difference. I simply wanted to point out to the other members who read this thread that there is no substance behind your claim, since no one else challenged it.

The conspiracy theories on PDF really degrade this site.

They work hard to be at the position they hold currently. In regards to Americans who profess the Hebrew Faith, many of them are talented and hard working individuals. Why should they be persecuted for their hard work ? After all, there is truth in the old adage, "You reap what you sow". If you sow hard work, you reap the bountiful fruits....

Far too simplistic.

While it is true that many people (including Jews) work hard, it is also true that ethnic nepotism plays a prominent role. Does anyone seriously believe that the disproportionate representation of Jews in Hollywood is there because of talent, and talent alone?

The topic cannot possibly be debated rationally since it is politically incorrect to discuss ethnic nepotism.

That's because American society (not government) has some of the strictest thought control on the planet -- that would make Goebbels proud.

Most people won't discuss Israel in an open manner, because they are scared to death of being labeled anti-Semitic. If there was true freedom of thought and expression -- free from social stigma -- to discuss issues related to Israel, you would see a very different dialog.

Or we could just make a law forcing them to renounce there dual citizenship to foreign countries before running for a political position.

That's kind of what I meant, but I personally would consider only the U.S. States as US territory.

Once again, you speak the truth.
