Nothing has stopped US companies from investing in Pakistan. That they haven't done so in great numbers prove that they are other factors at play rather than some animus toward Pakistan.
Still, for all the harping on not wanting US investment, Pakistan does enjoy a nice trade surplus with US. It would behoove Pakistan to try to expand the trade between the two countries and welcoming FDI from US would help in that.

Yeah sure.We have NGOs interfering in Pakistan. VOA deeva and RFL are churning bull crap. PTM is being sponsored by international actors including US. We have bikao maal pakistanis selling themselves to the Americans and you think the Americans (even the USAID and private businessmen) would keep their interest aside and think about Pakistan first.
Nothing is unconditional, especially with the Americans. They will always do what is best for them.
Besides, they are oonchi dukan and pheeka pakwan. They local embassy acts as if they are the greatest friends of Pakistan whereas they just blow their good deeds out of proportion. Considering the losses that we have faced due to them, they ought to do much more.

Rofl nothing serious just some some group made up of ex-Pakistanis based in NJ or Houston on self-publicity spree on a visit to do a bs seminar and leave without doing much.
Pakistani Americans or correctly defined American anti-Pakistanis are the most munafiq overseas community that contributes less and devastates us more with their pathetic actions. They have identity issues and disdain for the existence of Pakistan. They have been the funding catalysts of NGOs and imposition of elements of US culture in Pakistan like funding of feminist and LGBT causes to 'reform' or change Pakistani society. This is common sense how can a pimp who has left his former nation would want to invest? And if he/she invests would they follow procedure? There next generation [majority] won't be Muslim in future as there children are marrying hindus, sikhs and other nationalities. They are neither Pakistani nor Muslim so why do they need to invest or think of returning?
