US embargo caused over US$104 billion direct economic damages to Cuba

Well, I'm gonna take this post as evidence that in some moments, you feel pangs of guilt for being a race traitor. Because otherwise, you wouldn't be projecting your own insecurities about betrayal onto me. The difference between you and me is that I'm a cosmopolitan person, I enjoy sojourning to different worlds, and I don't mind acculturating myself into different societies. However, I'm not a sellout - I'm tied by blood to Chinese soil and all the people who live on it. I took a blood test once which revealed that I belong to haplogroup O3, a quintessentially Chinese y-chromosome haplogroup. I have framed the result and look at it often, and I know it gives me authorization to stray as far as I want from Chinese culture and not be a Hanjian.
:lol: Now that is a code word for someone who truly recognized his own racial hypocrisy and is working desperately hard to conceal it.

@anon45

I don't think you refuted what I said. Yes, the rest of America is apathetic to the embargo, and that's disappointing given the civic virtue necessary for a democracy to operate. I'm not interested in that though - I'm only disturbed by the treachery of Cuban exiles who spite their compatriots back home because of some confiscated property. It's petty and sick. If the trend you suggest is true (that they're more interested in reconciliation), then that's a welcome development, but it's kinda too little too late. The sanctions ruined Cuba, and the exiled have blood on their hands.

Also, it's easy to frame it as an issue of nationality, but the reality is that it's race. Race is paramount. The exiled conceive of the USA as a white nation, and that in betraying their motherland, they're doing the noble bidding of the white man. Race-relations between Cubans/Vietnamese and Blacks/Hispanics are notoriously awful (yes, even between Cubans and other hispanics), and I doubt the exiled would be so willing to throw their motherland under the bus if the USA ever became majority Black/hispanic.
Definitely do need to save this. Prove racism is not limited to America and is actually alive and well, perhaps even thriving and prosperous in other areas of the world.

The PRC posters on this forum are, on average, the most racist of nationality identifiable groups here. They are racist in both, from their perspective, positive and negative ways. That is they take great pride in the superiority of their own "genetics" (see above) and they disparage large swaths of other people, again based on their perception of the race of those other people. That Mr. Raphael does not know that most Cuban-American consider themselves to be of "white" ancestry shows his general ignorance of America, in spite of his claim to be a "Cosmopolitan".
