WHAAT??? Imagine if where India would stand today economically, if the US didn't created the financial crisis in 2008! Our GDP rate was at 9 to 10% and strongly pushing higher. Global investments into India at the peak, foreign companies lining up to come to India and start JVs and own facilities...
With all the other major countries not being in the financial mess as they are today, we would have seen much bigger growth, more jobs and more defence spending (since we are on a defence forum) in India! But thanks to the unregulated greed of US bankers, the de-regulation and privatisation policy of the republicans, the world and the US itself was close to bankruptcy.
So Indias interests were badly effected by US policies and even if you take the current situation with ISIS (created in the vacuum the US left in Iraq), the Ukraine crisis (because the US pushed to get them into NATO), which both are problems that's effecting Indian citizens, Indian defence relations as well as Indias growth.
US didn't create it intentionally since them being epicenter of that recession they were worst hit and all those loans without adequate securities which ultimately caused that recession were given even under democrats too, here you can't hold republicans responsible and let go democrats.
Iran might have been mistake but Afghanistan ??Are you kidding. I guess landing of our hijacked IA flight would have been proud moment for you.
Guantanamo too was much required bitter pill to get info out of hardened terrorists. You can't win ,if you always play by the rule. Even lord Rama had to kill Bali from hiding.
I don't get how Pakistan backed terrorists running sick in their so called backyard Afghanistan would add to world stability. You didn't talk about instability created by Arab spring. Does 2015 Egypt, Nigeria,Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Ukraine looks more stable than 2008 ??
That's why REPUBLICANS are better bet for world stability.
