This is entrie misstatement of facts by twisting them ...

1) Taliban was not a group trained and funded by ISI infact all of the Mujahidien group fighting against Soviet Union were trained and funded by ISI with backup support of US ...

2) All the persons fighting against Soviet were not Mujahid, some were fighting for land, some were fighting for religion, some were fighting for honour and some were fighting for money.

3) After Soviet withdrawal US straight forward went to exit mode leaving Afghanistan in mess and blood where all the fighting forces were united aginst Soviet but in absence of a common enemy was fighting with each other for more control.

4) ISI and Pakistani forces one of the biggest stakeholders after Afghan nation wanted to clear this mess and out of all group they identified Taliban as the best due to the following reasons:

a) Taliban were not fighting for land and were fighting for religion (a particular sect but still it was not for power).
b) Taliban leadership was already popular among masses because of its justful enforcement of Islamic law.
c) Very few people knows Mullah Omer was an ordinary teacher of Madarsa and has very few students (Thats why called Taliban as Taliban means students) his followers and he never claimed leadership till people requested him. The event which earn popularity to Mullah Omer was there was a dispute among some Afghans and the case prought to him by the people due to his reputation as pious guy and he decided the case at that very moment whih was acceptable to both parties. Then people of the area appointed him Qazi and his students were given the authoirty of implementation. HIs justice earn him favour and his influence grew.

5) Taliban were not the murderer of killer. It was a civil war and all the powerful groups were fighting each other. Murder is something when you kill someone old blooded but in a fight when your opponent also wants to kill you then its not a murder.

6) Taliban did not brought Afghanistan to Dark ages. Afghanistan was in civil war since several decades and Taliban were the one who ended that civil war. So after end of Civil war Taliban try to create diplomatic ties with all the nations for development of Afghanistan but west denied to accept Taliban and help them in developing Afghanistan... You can still find interviews of Taliban on CNN urging the world leaders to support Taliban for development.

7) If destroying buddhist relics and scripture is destruction then first of such act was done by our beloved prophet Hazrat Muhammad PBUH in Kaaba ... So be careful what are you saying ...

8) Kindly check names of Cabinet members of Taliban they were from coalition parties and from all the ethinicities living in Afghanistan other than northern alliance ...

8) I agree that Mullahs of Iran are modernist as compared to Taliban but who the hell are we to stop Taliban to live under a religious oriented leader ??? If people of Afghanistan were happy. Crime rate was reduced to minimum in centuries. Afghan was more united then in decades... After several decades civil war ended then who the hell me and you are to tell Afghan Taliabn we don't accept as you are very strict in implementation of Islam.

9) Your last statement clearly shows that you hate Taliban's due to their religious association and difference of sect ... Even I don't follow such strict principle of Islam but I salute to Afghan Taliban that they showed it is still possible to have a country which is interest free, which is as per Islam ...
