US and Japan plan fleet of over 1,000 low-orbit satellites to track missiles

lol what is use of more launches when america has done it's work of satellite launching ? even american companies are launching manned space flight .
Can you just stay on the topic, this thread is about spying satelites to be deployed. China has her own moon mission but that's another topic shouldn't be discussed in this thread.

. .
they can cease chinese assets as they did with iran.
I think that the west learnt,at least as far as iran was concerned, that playing high seas pirate was not a smart idea.I imagine that it would be an even less smart idea to try that sort of idiocy with the chinese.

If they do, China can easily outdo them, but maybe that's just fake claims that will never come true, US presidents come and go every 4 years, it's hard to make long term plans on the country.

I believe this is Japan's "ransom" for getting into the future "6-eyes"

If the cost of each satellite is <1 million USD and each time they could launch more than 10 satellites into space. This is possible. But the lifespan of this type of satellite is very low. With larger and more expensive satellites, design, manufacture, manufacture and launch costs are also higher. 1000 satellites is impossible.

Great money for defence contractors.

Long term plans will be helped guided by Japan. Raw massive power will be helped provided by the US.

Final tally of the orbital launches in 2019
  • China: 34
  • Russia: 22
  • United States: 21
  • Europe: 9
  • India: 6
  • New Zealand: 6
  • Japan: 2
  • Iran: 2

JAXA is currently developing a new rocket called the H3. Japan launches usually average around 4 times a year. The two could be explained with focus on the tbe development of new rocket. The rocket engines, called the LE-9, were fire tested eight times in fiscal year 2019; four times in 2 engine configuration and four times in 3 engine configuration. The first actual launch of the H-3 is planned for the end of this year.

My point is still valid, China will have more launches in the future than US and the gap will widen.

Well SpaceX one US firm has surpassed China in every aspect of space launch including payload and cost. Forget about NASA, this is just one of NASA's many glorious accomplishments.

Finally, analyst already predict SpaceX will have the largest share of the international launch market surpassing every national agency. So no China is unlikely to have more launches or a wide gap as you claim in the future.

We'll see, many westerners said many nevers about China a decade ago, and now only see US is crashing.
