  • Faisal Mohammad is suspected of stabbing four people on the UC Merced campus on Wednesday (11-04-15).
  • Mohammad’s parents were immigrants from Pakistan

Investigators have described Mohammad as an isolated young man who was angry about being kicked out of a study group before the attack. Mohammad apparently detailed his plan of attack in a two-page note that deputies have said read like a script and included dialogue Mohammad planned to use during the melee.

His plan included forcing a student to zip-tie other students to desks and smearing petroleum jelly on the floor to make responding law enforcement officers slip and fall. He then planned to take an officer’s gun and kill multiple people at a nearby dormitory, authorities said.

His elaborate plan was interrupted by 31-year-old Byron Price, a construction worker who was across the hallway overseeing a project when he heard screaming and went to help, according to investigators. Price struggled with Mohammad and was slashed around the waistline. Mohammad, who had already stabbed one student inside the classroom, left the building and stabbed two more people. He was shot and killed on Scholars Lane Bridge, a short distance from the building.

Investigators later discovered a computer printout of an Islamic State flag among Mohammad’s possessions, according to law enforcement officials who spoke to the Sun-Star on condition of anonymity. Whether he was influenced by the extremist group or its tactics remains under investigation, they said.

Why are Pakistanis/Orgin people taking up Jihad in western countries?

- Just this year 1 Pakistani /Pakistani origin was convicted for plotting a BomB attack in NY
- Gunman in Texas Cartoon attack was Pakistani /Pakistani origin
- 2 Pakistanis were deported from Canada for terror activites.
- UK's youngest bomber at 17 is of Pakistani origin

- 3 Pakistanis among 29 charged over Kuwait suicide attack
- Bangkok bomb: Two Malaysians and a Pakistani arrested

It is an isolated action of a lone individual who might have never visited Pakistan even once. Open some other thread for trolling. This one is simply not "good enough".

Isolated incident? hmm ok but how is it trolling? I did not make up any bit of the news posted but asked a very valid question. All of these incidents are from this year alone.

You searched some random news. Posted in one thread. And came up with a bullsh!t of a question not surprisingly since you are an Indian. ISIS is a global phenomenon and has influenced youth from every country including India. The event is an isolated incident and has nothing to do with Pakistan.

Go pray for Ashok Singhal instead of worrying about some random Pakistan origin individual. That scumbag would surely need your prayers. After all he has blood of Indian muslims on his hands.

I didn't have to search for "random news" but was enlightened by a colleague while discussing Paris over some awesome coffee. He pointed out that Pakistanis and or Pakistan is in the limelight again. The colleague is not Indian.

Funny you say this has nothing to do with Pak but you are quick to direct me to Indian news that has nothing to do with this thread. IF I had said Muslims, i'd be branded Islamophobic, if I say Pakistan, it's an isolated incident... For you it's isolated but there is a pattern with Pakistanis/ Pakistani orgin people turning jihadists.

Just like how you guys jump up and down and shout for someone's head when there is a cartoon on your prophet but will not even whimper a protest when A0A is shouted when innocents are killed. Stop the hypocrisy! You must be uncomfortable reading such news but calling it isolated in every case you guys get caught is sad!

Pakistanis are not in lime light. No where in mainstream media. You might be fraternizing with Pakistan obsessed bigot like yourself so hence you find Pakistanis in "limelight".

And yes this has nothing to do with Pakistan. The guy who stabbed a few people might have never visited Pakistan. Even your news article say it is an isolated incident. There is no trend here. Youth from all over the world has been disillusioned with ISIS bullsh!t and same has happened with a few Pakistanis who make not even 1% of Pakistani population. In fact more youth from other countries has joined ISIS than Pakistani origins.

As for hypocrisy. I don't need a certificate from you or for any other Indian for that matter. Indians and their country are an epitome of hypocrisy. I condemn both Paris attacks and hate speech on the name of free speech. I condemn Paris attacks without ambiguity. Without any ifs and buts. I don;t condone violence on civilians and I am not like you guys who support rioters, killers and mass murderers into the parliament.

Globalization Man
Culture gets ingrained over period of time. Thats the reason why some ppl get into fights and others resolve peacefully. If a fight happens and passersby restrain them or call police is one thing. If passersby join the fight and take it to new level its a different thing.

I agree culture, upbringing, education plays an imp role that's why 12% Brit doctors are Indians apart from serving in their armed forces fighting their battles in afghnasistan.

I never heard about any indian grooming gangs.

ppl always get attuned to things surrounding them. whether it is fight in a class, bargaining stuff or cheating. If every body does it why should you be an exception ? or be left out of the benefit. Over a period of time it becomes a expected stuff.

Tariq Fateh said the same thing today lol

Supposedly this kid was given a hard time on the college campus (UC Merced btw not Mercer) where students would often call him a terrorist, ask him if he had a bomb, called him ISIS etc.

Apparently he snapped and did what he did. He clearly didn't handle the situation like a sane person would have by going to the university and filing a harassment claim but unfortunately I don't think this is the last time we'll see a kid snap from being harassed for simply being Muslim.

Bullying is nothing new in US schools and a lot of the lone shooters (nearly all of whom were White) were social outcasts that snapped. Unfortunately, this behavior persists up the university level where bullying is not taken into as much consideration as it is in the K-12 years.

What about the Indian culture that promotes raping of women in India? Or the Indian culture that claims to be democratic yet violently attacks those that eat cow meat? I guess that's ingrained in your DNA. Let's not forget that Indians had the barbaric and unique practice off tossing women into fire once their husbands died and that savage behavior had to be reigned in on by the British.

You don't hear about Indian gangs out West because there aren't enough Indians around and most are too weak anyway and would get pounced on by Blacks, Mexicans, and any other gang.
