Independent journalism means that they should quote both sides. Israeli officials and others.I posted updated information about explosions in Israel from mainstream sources (Western and Middle Eastern). Since this is a discussion about an incident in Israel, it is logical for different sources to quote Israeli officials in relation.
You clearly stated this in your post (# 254): "All Western sources are going to stick with the Israeli version of the story. I am sure you are mature enough to know this."
Sweeping generalization or what? How can I address this issue for you?
I do not have much free time on my hands to address your reservations about Western sources TBH. This is something you will have to figure out on your own.
I have given this thread some direction on the basis of a well-informed source. Thread title can be amended again in view of additional updates from the same source or other well-informed sources.
If you find another article reliable then let me know. But you are stuck with an unexplained footage.

Israel admits failure to intercept Syria missile landing near Dimona military nuclear site
The Israeli war minister admitted on Thursday that Tel Aviv tried, but failed to intercept a Syrian missile that landed near the regime’s most sensitive Dimona military nuclear site.www.tehrantimes.com
- will do for amending title of this thread?
You are quoting Tehran Times, but did you also read this part?
Gantz claimed the missile had landed near Dimona as a result of “errant” Syrian anti-aircraft fire. General Frank McKenzie, head of the United States Central Command, also echoed the remarks, addressing the Senate Armed Services Committee earlier.
Many observers, however, provided different assessments.
“I think that this is a lie,” Mimi al-Laham told Press TV from Perth, Australia, of the incident, noting how it only took Israeli sources some 40 minutes following the incident to “spin the elaborate” version.
She said the missile was not errant and appeared to be a “surface-to-surface” or “ballistic” missile rather destined for the target that it hit.
“A few years ago, when Syria shot down an Israeli jet, they claimed it was an ‘engine failure,’” she recalled.
Does this part in any way change your opinion?
