United Increases the Price of Bravo hatchback

Now EVO is a class better than what i actually did using a Corolla :P

EVO and modified corolla are not comparable. EVO is a beast. It has a fluid nature, all you need to do is to mould it in the direction you want to improve it.

Yep me and my good buddy with his WRX had some good races along the open stretches of highway and country roads here in Canada. Wish I had a go pro for all that stuff back then, it was fun as heck and I thought I'd always be doing it....so didn't care much to think about recording it.

The final score between him and I is roughly ratio of 2:1 in his favour lol....guy had way more coin than I did (and he still does, douchebag has an R8 now lol, banking families i tellz ya)... to modify, tune and improve his rig all the time....though some stretches had better combos for me and my better handling...and of course luck factor. Cops were an issue too...we didnt do the urban racing stuff that lot of speed freaks went for...hence we rarely got busted (there is good honor code on the roads here too... to warn for cops in speed traps past the regular interceptor radio we'd carry). Miss those times for sure...but in other ways dont miss it that much lol (I don't feel so low in regular moments that I got to do because I don't need that rush/fun...so its more steady since I don't get withdrawal feelings hah).

Respect though, I have had beaters too that I souped up (or help soup up for others) like what you did....even a cheap kia and near-scrap sunfire the one time haha....but mostly helped with Golfs...i got pretty good at those and theres many around (and german stuff generally carries quite some premium service-wise for what you get here, which helps).

Cars as a hobby are fun, but it can get expensive, not just for cars, but the law and the chicks too. Expensive, but a whole lotta fun for sure. Just remember that going fast is just one part of it. Parked out the middle of nowhere is lotsa fun in the back seat too. :D

I tend to prefer to enjoy the finer, smoother things in life now. Natural sceneries, outdoors, fishing, hunting, hiking, stargazing (though that has always been a hobby of mine since a kid)...and yeah backseat/rooftop chilled out stuff hehe...good food and drink as well. Earlier me probably would laugh at current me now....and I chuckle back at earlier me.

Praise the Lord and be grateful for all things only the lucky ones get to enjoy! :D

Plenty of times I'd be driving in a pack of cars with all of us going at 120 playing this game of who wants to be first in line.

I'm sorry but I have zero faith in VW. I have seen two of them shear their bolts right at the axle while zipping between cones during auto-crossing (and heard of others). Also once at a stop light I had a tire bounce off the side of my car and roll through the intersection. Looked in the rearview and there was a VW with a tire missing.

Yes the needs are high, but the provision/supply-chain support is pathetic and expensive = cha-ching for me back then :)

I "traded" my Corvette for this one when I got married. The Missus insisted that I get rid of the "Vette".

I have several other vehicles, but my current daily workhorse is a 12 year old Toyota FJ Cruiser, no longer sold in the US, and rare to find with the stick shift I have. It is well on its way to a six figure mileage in the harsh climate of Western NY.

The Germans like to use bolts on wheels instead of nuts onto studs to hold them. The reason is that they are easily replaced during strict inspections in Germany mandated for cars, but in other markets the techs tighten them up too much and do not replace them thinking they are as durable as studs, which they are not.

He traded in the wrong entity, IMO! :D

Well women, cant live with em...but you can't live without em! They are so...addictive and wonderful...but can cut you down and hurt you like nothing else too!...what a fantastic yet potent thing God has put on this Earth.
