Unidentified Aircraft Strike Tripoli Again.

It is confirmed now UAE had conduct airstrikes inside Libya with assistance of Egypt through their borders.

However, they failed the operation.

Libya is now in total control of Islamist after the fall of Tripoli airport.

The end.

Ive got a feeling this movement in Libya is going to join the IS as well. Egypt is about to find itself battling its east very soon.

UAE/Egypt attacked according to American intelligence in the region. Which proves that they're aiding General Haftar and his forces.

Wrong-

A senior US official told the BBC that Washington was not consulted about the attacks and was "caught off-guard".

BBC News - Libya crisis: US 'caught off-guard' by air strikes

Egypt has a larger diplomatic and therefore intelligence presence in Libya than the US. If these strikes were truly carried out by Egypt and the UAE there would be no need to use any intel from the states.

The strikes were against miltias part of "Operation Dawn" who were fighting the Zintan Brigades (who are allied to the government) for control of Tripoli Airport. General Haftar's forces are mainly concentrated in eastern Libya fighting Ansar Alsharia, the most recent air strikes do not benefit his forces.

But, it's also puzzling why the UAE would be involved and who's airspace did they cross to do this.

It is puzzling, these unnamed US sources claim the strikes were carried out by UAE craft from Mursa Matruh AFB, however, that doesn't make sense nor does it make sense that a nation that has not been involved at all in the Libya crisis (except for the 2011 intervention) would carry out any strikes.

These were not the first strikes against "Operation Dawn" militias nor do I think they will be the last. They were not meant to defeat any militias completely, that can only be done by militants on the ground. We may see a prolonged air campaign against these militias by the nation or nations that perpetrated the previous strikes.

"Operation Dawn" militias are mainly situated in the West of Libya and they are made up of more moderate (a relative word here, they are still extremist) fighters compared to Ansar Alsharia in the east which has links to IS. Libya also has Alqaeda affiliated forces operating within it, which may result in the same scenario we see in Syria where Alnusra are fighting IS.

Egypt is already 'fighting' on its western border. It is a threat that the Armed Forces is very much alive to.

You answered your own question...

Probably it is the Saudis, they were training for long flight and air refueling lately...I guess they were more accurate with their missiles than they did with the Houtis.

I will not take lessons from a man (or kid) who advocates violent revolution across the region which will result in massive bloodshed across the region of the same Arabs and Muslims (or other religions but of course you don't really care if they die). You are no pacifist and neither am I.

I'm sure these 'revolutionaries' are an integral part of your plan, however, they are not that popular in Libya as result of things like this (which are becoming more and more common):

Your revolutionaries did not spare the lives of their fellow Arab and Muslim brethren then why should anyone in the region who has suffered as a result of their continued aggression spare them for being the same.
After seeing this, good job Egypt, keep your neighborhood clean from extremists or they might bite you, unfortunately our stupid politians didnt get this simple fact. :hitwall:

Extremists of any kind should not be tolerated, unfortunately the previous regime was averse to tolerating extremist Islamist organisations such as Ansar Beit Almaqdis thinking that by being a self proclaimed Islamic government will be reason enough for these groups not to attack, they were proved wrong when they killed sixteen border guards in Ramadan before Iftar, that was sixteen soldiers too many, and the result of inaction and tolerance continues to hurt Egypt.
