Al-Aqsa Mosque
United Nations UNESCO body has passed a resolution put forth by the Palestinian State denying all connection between Jews and Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Al-Aqsa.
the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) resolution condemns Israel for its activities in Jerusalem and the West Bank and declares that the Western Wall and Temple Mount henceforth will be referred to by their Arabic names. The UN will reference the Hebrew terms for the sites only in quotation marks
There were 26 countries who abstained from the vote, including Serbia and Turkmenistan, while 24 countries supported the initiative and six voted against it. It should be noted that not a single European nation voted for the initiative.
The countries of France, Sweden, Slovenia, India, Argentina, and Togo at first were going to vote for the resolution saying that Jews have no connection to Jerusalem, but were convinced to abstain from voting in the end.
The US, UK, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Estonia voted against the Palestinian backed resolution.
Palestine gained membership in UNESCO in 2011 with 107 votes in favor, 14 against and 52 abstentions. The United States, Canada and Germany voted against Palestinian membership. Brazil, Russia, China, India, South Africa and France voted in favor. Britain abstained. Shortly after Palestine’s admittance in the organization tasked with safeguarding human’s cultural heritage, Israel and the United States both suspended their funding to UNESCO. Both have lost their voting rights as a result.
following the news, the Zionist apartheid regime suspended its ties with UNESCO.
