Request to all EU/UN, who condemn terrorist hanging by pakistan:

Why don't you give them citizenship in EU or US, and take them with you.... then you might understand what actually the "war on terror" is.....

I heard NS saying they will constitute army courts for speedy trial. To me it sounds like 'we will kill a bunch of people' without much trial.

Not really; the Constitution provides for military courts to be set-up and I think that military courts are going to be considerably more fair and effective than their civil counterparts because they are not crippled by corruption and nepotism like the latter nor do the judges need to go into hiding or leave the country for fear of reprisal.

Besides military courts should not evoke an image of some Soviet-esque military tribunals that send innocent people to the gulags; lets be a bit reasonable here.

I am not the one being unreasonable, I know how things work in India and can bet its quite similar in pakistan. But I guess people are more interested in 'something' needs to be done, than justice being done.

Donot compare india with pakistan...........What happens in india cannot be consired as the same in pakistan.Our military courts provide speedy justice cuz one judge cannot take another case until he has solved the present case

The law has run its due course.

People are not going to be picked up from the streets and get sent to the gallows; these are hardened criminals we're talking about with the blood of countless innocent Pakistanis on their hands. And they will be tried by special military courts that are neither crippled with corruption and nepotism that their civil counterparts are nor are they going to shy away from giving a verdict because the juror's life maybe in danger.

Can there be a miscarriage of justice ? Yes...anything is possible especially in a developing country like Pakistan where institutions are not built the way they ought to be and fairness, justice and accountability do not permeate everything but let us not go overboard over here and think that the Government's response is 'We will kill a bunch of people without much trial' !

judges in India work on multiple cases, in that case pakistan is quite special.
You should know independent judiciary is there for a reason, in serious cases like murder, you need trained judiciary to provide justice. Its not a easy job that any part timer can do.

Please don't put words in my mouth. I never said CIA is saintlike but belonging to a country which is in a state of war for the past 13 years, i know a thing or two about who our really enemies are.
