I just want to add I don't agree with the guy in the video.
he seems to have some prejudice against the Chinese or at the very least the communist party.

we don't live in Xinjian we don't understand what happens there 100%.
I think any country and the majority population would act out being targeted by random knife and bomb attacks.

I can't imagine a Boston Bombing happening every few weeks or less, but that's what happens in Xinjiang.

punishing all the Uighurs isn't going to solve the problem and that'll inflame them and muslims around the world.

there is no easy solution to this that won't cause controversy

There should be an investigation into the murder of Jume Tahir, the imam of the Kashgar mosque. If UWC or ETIM or any other terrorist group is found to have provided funding and planning for the attack, I wonder how they will justify their bloodlust for their own brothers?

Correct. The recent killing of their own imam shows that they won't tolerate even their own brethren who aren't as theologically radical as they are:

That is not a logical comparison. How would Americans act if they were invaded by Russians and told to speak Russian and live like Russians? You know how they would act. Uighur people were invaded by Chinese in the 40'ies and now they are being supressed in their own lands. Uighur, Tibetians and even some Chinese groups should reject Beijing control in return for Japanese control.
