UAE minister enters Guinness Book of Records

High landers (FATA) like Afridi,Wazir,Mehsud arent related to afghan pashtuns.. infact they have distinct origins.
Wazirs live in Pakistan as well as in Afghanistan. Same is case with Mangals, Shinwaris, Mohmands, Safis and few other tribes of FATA. The closest kin of Turis of Parachinar (Pakistan) are Jajis of Aryob (Afghanistan). Karlanries and Sarbanis inhabit FATA as well as Afghanistan.

@Saif al-Arab , Turkish operations in region :D

Joint Arab-Turkish operations stretching from the Incirlik Air Base to Qatar. We both approve as we found out. What is next on the menu?

Anyway in all seriousness I would be more interested in you replying to my post 93 and some of the genuine points that I have raised.

BTW, since you are here and since, if I recall (we had quite a few interesting discussions here when the forum was frequented by fewer trolls and the threads were a bit more serious) you are from Southern Turkey, what can you tell me about the status of the Mhallame (المحلمية)

Interesting article about the Arabs of Turkey.

http://www.arabnews.com/news/557981

@Full Moon once told (if I recall) that he was driven around in Istanbul by an Turkish Arab taxi driver (pastime taxi driver apparently) who spoke in an Jazirah dialect (not that Jazirah but the other one - the same that once stretched all the way into modern-day Diyarbakir, itself named after the Banu Bakr tribe) which any Najdi can easily understand completely and vice versa. That is quite remarkable considering the time period.

Similarly the Saudi Arabian Turks (older generation), at least in Hijaz, are able to speak in an old Istanbuli dialect which I also find interesting.

You are very racist, paa ji

Senseless, inaccurate and childish trolling is not worth responding too albeit I was not any better when I decided to step down to such a level. Regardless, no harm done as this is only an internet forum and our aim here should be to learn something new and have interesting discussions if possible. I don't believe that he has anything against Arabs (judging by his history here) nor do I obviously have anything against Punjabis. I think this was the first time that I even wrote anything negative about them in my life. Obviously me replying in a similar manner to a troll post should not be taken as me hating Punjabis. That would be ridiculous.

Back on our topic of our women high performance in all fields expressed n an exqisite art form:

Not the greatest fan of belly dancing IMO. Of course every man can appreciate a beautiful woman or more than one but I do prefer traditional Arab women dances (which are very numerous) that are much less humble in the sense that women are not exposed. It is more elegant. Although belly dancing is an art form in itself which must be recognized. I do feel and fear that many of the women involved in such dances are exploited. Not talking about this Eastern European dancer in particular but local ones, mainly in Egypt.

Give me an Northern Saudi Arabian or Shami woman dancing Dabka together in traditional dresses over such stuff IMO. Just my own humble opinion and I do understand that many of my age are obviously inclined to prefer the belly dancing for obvious reasons.

I agree with you.. I have a special view of nature and I have always appreciated the Woman creature as a gift of god to men, an expression of his divine art..expressed on our earth in many forms.. that is why I do appreciate belly dancing and ballet as well as other forms of artistic expressions mostly when accompanied with nice music.. it becomes a full artistic exeprience, I appreciate it more than painting, because it is a live expression with all what it entails.., I believe in Din and Dounya and I tend to see the movement and expression more than concentrate on the body itself.. so I am safe..or so I think :frown:

Enjoy and lets celebrate this world Guinness record nomination of one young woman of our own to a minister post at the age of 22..

The fact that you have pointed out his ethnicity, and that you are getting defensive that you should not be considered an anti-Punjabi individual , reveals a lot about you... It has occurred to you that this forum does not tolerate any attack or insult of Punjabi people and but you can get away with ban no matter how much you insult/attack Pashtuns here. You have been viciously attacking Pashtuns whenever you get angry with any Pakistani here. Even when you have to insult Iranis, you bring Pashtuns into it. Kaptaan is a Punjabi but you respond to him by attacking Pashtuns. The search of your posts reveal that you have mentioned word Punjabi only in three posts out of four thousands, all three are innocent posts. While you have not mentioned Sindhis in any of your posts. Same was the case with your previous accounts. Pakistani members here insult Pashtuns on various pretexts without consequences and you noticed that. Your formula is not so helpful because you get banned for other reasons. Next time when a Pakistani insult your nation as a Pakistani, respond by insulting entirety of Pakistani nation rather than singling out an ethnicity. Or when a Punjabi among Pakistanis insult you then target Punjabi people rather than Pashtuns. Grow an e-spine

.
I wish Pakistanis looked like these MENA people but alas we are so ugly. I am so jealous of Arabs.
Well played sir. So a news about a young and promising Arab woman politician and all you could do is objectify her by talking about her looks. And through your expert level trolling you have turned the discussion to genetic makeup of Arab world, one full of racist remarks, and an Arab has actually helped you in this. Again well played sir.

Nothing nouveau riche about Arabia or the Arab world (some of the richest regions of the world historically) my donkey-jumping Punjabi. When your ancestors lived in tiny fiefdoms and almost never ventured out of their villages, my ancestors conquered an territory stretching from China to France. BTW, we prefer our world famous Arabian house. The same horse that once conquered your lands.
Just a historical clarification, Arabs horses never reached Do-Aab(Punjabi Mainland). The furthest Arab conquest was that of Multan and it is in Saraiki part of the current province of Punjab. Please do continue with your racist gibberish, its fun to read.

.
However they reached Punjab. It is easy to take a post out of context forgetting that I was not the one that started writing racist comments. As usual BTW. Also unlike my opponents in this thread, although I want to praise @Kaptaan here, I actually apologized and was a man enough to do that publicly.
Multan was never part of Punjab, they don't speak Punjabi there. It is only part of the current administrative division we call province of Punjab.

It was a very positive news and should have been discussed in a productive manner but you could not take a joke, could you. And now it has all gone to gutter.

I pointed his ethnicity out solely because he began talking about an ethnicity (Arab) while insulting and not nationality. As I usually do in such situations. As for what is tolerated here or not, I can safely say to you for all to see that insulting Arabs is a pastime for a couple of users here and they all tend to have a free license to do so. Strangely such people were nowhere to be seen when this section had an Arab moderator. Maybe it was fear of getting banned, what do I know. In particular idiotic generalizations. A quick search on your username shows that you were very much guilty of that yourself just today (writing an absolutely absurd and laughable comment) and in the process you were caught lying as you once told me that you have worked in Qatar. Anyway I don't care about that.

No, I have never attacked Pashtuns other than when discussing with the same 1-2 individuals (which I am sure that you noticed but failed to mention) who have insulted Arabs. I never insult other people out of the blue. You are welcome to think that I have anything against Pashtuns (why should any Arab have anything against Pashtuns?) but I can say to you that this is not the case. In fact not only that I challenge you to find a single post of mine that insults Pashtuns or any other people without those individuals having previously insulted Arabs. Very welcome in fact. You also think/believe that I dislike/hate Iranians (an nationality - not an ethnicity) while this is completely wrong. My problem is limited to the Iranian regime (that ironically claim Arab descent and partially are in fact of Arab descent) and Iranian individuals who hate Arabs for being Arabs. Other than that Iranians for me are no different from Surinamese, Papuans, Belarusians etc. with the only difference of them being neighbors and us having much more in common and having a common history (both good and bad as it often is the case). For your information, Iranians have a very large diaspora in the GCC (second largest after the US) and I know a few Iranians in person both based in the GCC and in the West and we as Arabs have good ties with them and do business with them. Not limited to Iranian Arabs but obviously this includes Persians, Lurs, Kurds etc. Intermarriages etc. as well. Middle Eastern communities tend to stick together in the West. You might not know about this.

I am not going to google how many times that you have written Arab but I am pretty sure that it far exceeds the times that I have written Pashtun. As for insulting Pashtuns, I have mentioned them 5-6 times in this thread, and not a single one was an insult.

You know what? Next time I should ignore ignorant, biased and idiotic comments aimed at Arabs. The trouble with that policy is that those users are commenting on threads related to Arabs while I am not entreating their "hunting grounds" to talk badly about them. This is the big difference aside from insufficient moderating. As for being banned, I take my bans without any crying. I believe that you are familiar with this fact and your past users as well.

I am a member of a very active Arab forum and I have defended Pakistan and Pakistanis (not due to PDF or the people that I have gotten to known here) but due to personal interactions whenever people have been similarly wrong or ignorant as some Pakistanis are about Arabs on PDF. So sure, I have nothing better to do than use a Pakistani forum while apparently hating a large component of them (Pashtuns). I don't even believe that you believe that to be the case.

Just a historical clarification, Arabs horses never reached Do-Aab(Punjabi Mainland). The furthest Arab conquest was that of Multan and it is in Saraiki part of the current province of Punjab. Please do continue with your racist gibberish, its fun to read.

However they reached Punjab. It is easy to take a post out of context forgetting that I was not the one that started writing racist comments or derailing this thread. As usual BTW. Also unlike my opponents in this thread, although I want to praise @Kaptaan here, I actually apologized and was a man enough to do that publicly.

The bigger "mystery" here is why YET another Arab-related thread has turning into a troll feast? When I take a look at the first few comments in this thread (first 2) I do not see any trolling.

This thread could be used to highlight the many recent positive developments of Arab women in the GCC (which there are many some of which I have reported) but that was not the case.

Similarly a terrific (objectively speaking) thread about the ancient history and heritage of modern-day KSA, was turned into a partial troll feast by non-Arabs once again. How do you explain this fact? Or the fact that Arab users are not starting a single troll feast anywhere on this forum out of the blue?

You can take a look at the Arab section of the forum. It is one of the most peaceful sections of this forum. I am sure that the moderators can confirm this. If this is not clear proof of what I am saying I do not know what is.

BTW, nobody here is an idiot. This is a Pakistani forum and obviously this must be respected but there are limits to what kind of insults a person can tolerate without replying in kind. You would understand that had this been an Arab forum and had Arab users been writing badly about your ethnicity or country.

Multan was never part of Punjab, they don't speak Punjabi there. It is only part of the current administrative division we call province of Punjab.

It was a very positive news and should have been discussed in a productive manner but you could not take a joke, could you. And now it has all gone to gutter.

"The Punjabis followed a diverse plethora of faiths, mainly comprising Hinduism, when the Muslim Umayyad army led by Muhammad bin Qasim conquered Sindh and Southern Punjab in 712, by defeating Raja Dahir. The Umayyad Caliphate was the second Arab, Islamic caliphate established after the death of Muhammad. It was ruled by the Umayyad dynasty, whose name derives from Umayya ibn Abd Shams, the great-grandfather of the first Umayyad caliph. Although the Umayyad family originally came from the city of Mecca, their capital was Damascus. Muhammad bin Qasim was the first to bring message of Islam to the population of Punjab"

If post 45 is considered a "joke" in your vocabulary, you have a bad humor, with all due respect.

As I already wrote, it is clear who began to derail this thread with nonsense. Not Arab users because there was no reason to do such a thing based on this news which we consider (most of us) as a positive news.

Anyway this is off-topic and quite frankly irrelevant. Let's for once return to topic.

he fact that you have pointed out his ethnicity
Babban not that I like touting my ethnicity but I am not ethnic Punjabi anymore then you are a ethnic Tajik. Stop second guessing my ethnic heritage please.

And I think me and @Saif al-Arab have made up. There was some bad blood from past 'encounters' but the recent tangle we had was catharatic. Yes Saif? Now let us live and let live.

And may of you are complaining that I trolled this thread. It was not intended but I agree things just went off on the wrong direction. Much regrets for any offence caused. And I think Saif will agree.

so what's the big deal? in arab countries ruled by dictators and royal families even a 10 yr old can become king.

.

Wrong. I am from North. Besides, Arabic speakers shouldn't surprise you or get you into such conclusions.

.
I hope you are joking.

What does MENA mean?

Well congrats to UAE
MENA stands for Middle east and Africa

Are you implying that she is ugly or is this about your usual obsession about Arabs?

I personally think that she is doing OK but I don't believe that her appearance has any relevance here.

I wish Arabs looked like these South Asian people but alas we are so ugly. I am so jealous of Pakistanis.

Pakistan's Minister of Tourism Nilofar Bakhtiar.

Man, I am such a great troll although I struggle to compete with the over 3 times older (almost) rival. Silly me for even attempting that on his own home turf (PDF).
Saif you can't judge by single person by whole nation. By the way we have many good looking young female politicians.
