UAE minister enters Guinness Book of Records

. .
Arabs conquered a part of Punjab and much of Pakistan (most in fact). As for whether all of Punjab or not, this is irrelevant to my initial statement. Nor am I frankly interested what occurred 1400 years ago.

Arabs conquered a territory which is "now" a part of Punjab (but was not a part of Punjab back then). In other words, the Arabs never conquered Punjab. So, next time before making such claims, please do read a little bit about the history of the region. Thank You

Allah (swt) created all animals as an adornment as all are his creation. What the hell has that to do with consumption of donkey meat? No such thing occurred. The hadith is a weak hadith besides there is no such example in historical sources which is the most important thing. Nor during the Islamic era. A weak attempt.

A weak Hadith ?? A weak attempt ? Are you sure ??

This Hadith has been narrated by both, Bukhari and Muslim and there is an absolute consensus among the Sunni scholars regarding the authenticity of this Hadith:

The meat of onagers (“wild donkeys”) is permitted and the meat of domesticated donkeys is forbidden

And as these Ahadith were written/compiled 1200 years ago in Arabia, this proves beyond any doubt that not only were there donkeys in Arabia, the Arabs (your ancestors) used to domesticate donkeys and also consumed their meat.

I showed you sources that mention that Arabs conquered parts of what was then Punjab. We can go back and forth. The reality is that I doubt that anyone (with full certainty) knew what was conquered to the centimeter 1300 years ago. BTW Arabs made incursions into modern-day India (with limited forces due to the size of empire and priorities elsewhere) and held land for a few years as well.

I am very much sure.

It's just strange that there are no other reports of such a practice from any source, either Islamic or pre-Islamic let alone today.

Donkeys were apparently first domesticated in ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia so that Arabia (located between those two and having very close ties to both) had domesticated them as well is no secret.

One thing is domestication another consumption. For instance numerous new studies show that the horse was first domesticated in Arabia many thousands of years ago (possibly as far as 7000 years ago) and there are no records of horse consumption in Arabia as far as I know.

Similarly (albeit later) was the case in South Asia where even certain Hindu Gods were depicted as donkeys.

Arabs conquerors ? Since when? If you were what happen to you now, in Yemen, in Syria, in Irak...
Arabs have never ever conquered a single plot of land, it was done thru mercenaries, like in Yemen now, and you came in when the dust settles...Islam was bloody and it is still bloody to this day..and you the Sauds, made it as the religion of the doomsayers..

Arabs conquered parts of what is "Now" Punjab, not what was "then" Punjab. While Sindh was conquered by Arabs in early 8th century, Punjab remained under the rule of different Rajput princes. Lahore, Sialkot and Rawalpindi were the capitals of three of such Rajput states. The Hindu kings of Kashmir ruled a part of it until the end of the 9th century, while Brahman rulers of Kabul ruled the western part.

Anyways, as you have retracted your original claim of your ancestors conquering Punjab, and are now saying that they conquered some part at least, made incursions and held territory for few years, I think our discussion is concluded.

As for Horse meat consumption, the same Hadith from Bukhari which tells us that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the meat of domesticated donkeys, also tell us that he granted the Arabs a concession, allowing them to eat the meat of horses.
