Money never ever translated into friendship. Certainly not in the international stage.
KSA has time and again shown its commitment to support Pakistan. UAE city states have been a frustratingly a stark contrast with one disappointment after another.
Thank for making this statement, and showing the world how immature and clueless you are. Appreciate it!

Btw, 2m Pakistanis living in the UAE disagree with you.

How much of that support is where it matters if you want to put down UAE on it?

KSA imports 20 times from India than it does with Pakistan.

The overall trade relationship between India and KSA is something like 10 times that of Pakistan-KSA.

This disparity only grows each year.

If KSA so friendly to Pakistan, why it cannot simply switch to importing Pakistan only for lot of goods that Pakistani awaam produce?...that too in this day and age of Pakistan going for bailouts.

The answer lies in Pakistan improving its economy to compete better and build actual networks in long term that matter (outside of oligarchs and vested interests, the same folks that trample on Pakistani public as and when it suits them)..... rather than complain about "commitments" first thing.

Agreed. KSA has multiple times proved its loyalty & friendship with Pakistan and KSA's army regiment participates in Pakistan Day March.

You can correct all you want, in the real world no body gives two hoots. Prove me wrong have GoP stop the US$29bn coming in from KSA / UAE.

I can guarantee you 90% of pakistani people living inside paksitan have no special soft corner for iran, this forum however has disproportionately large number of posters having special soft corner for iran. Also 90% of pakistanis have no ill feeling towards any gulf state including UAE or Saudi arabia. For example every third or fourth family from my native region gujranwala has someone working in one of the gulf countries and sending back remittances on monthly basis for decades. I don't even know a single person from my area working and sending a single penny from iran.

Absolutely! Very well said.

More than 5m Pakistanis working in GCC, how many million in Iran? Zero!

And that too for decades which no body highlights, I know many families in my native region in pakistan some of whose family members have been sending monthly remittances from gulf countries (saudia, uae, qatar, kuwait) since 80s.

If number of ex-pat workers is a measure of anything then India must the most favoured country of all in GCC. Indian workers form the biggest chunk of ex-pats, far more then Paks.

If not having any workers is measure then ironbrother China, Turkey, Azerbaijan come out pretty bad because they don't have many Pak ex-pats. On the contrary USA comes out looking rosy as it has over half million Pakistani's including many PDF'ers and even the Webbie.

So if you are going to apply this measuring stick of yours, please do so and note the results it throws up.

Ask him to prove you wrong by having the $55 billion going to our enemy India from KSA/UAE blocked that dwarfs the figure Mr Kamil quoted.

I narrated the ground realities, china turkey azerbaijan are considered friends because they have proven to be friends of pakistan in almost all issues related to pakistan, also pakistani establishment project these countries as pakistan's allies. Expat pakistanis living in USA or even a large number of them living in UK also don't send monthly remittances back to Pakistan because the expat pakistanis living in these countries are settled permanently there with core members of their families. The only people who send monthly remittances to Pakistan are expat pakistanis in Gulf countries who are living there only as workers and in some cases entrepreneurs, their wives, parents , children all live back in cities and villages of pakistan like in our area Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat etc.

I did as well. If you can try to leverage number of ex-pat workers or remittances then KSA/UAE are the biggest benefactors of India and annually service over $55 billion to India. The massive number of Indian workers in UAE alone is testament to that. Thus denuding your little "Gujranwala" story because there 4 times more "Gujranwalas" from India in UAE.

If not having workers [Iran was cited] is a measure then you won't find many Paks in Turkey or China either. This is ground reality you need to chew on. Also instead of giving a rant about Iran I pasted a Pew survey. You may choose to call that Yahood Sazish but at least it is a independant survey. Not me farting off claims.

Pakistan needs to produce good teachers in large numbers and they will start grabbing many foreign markets, not just UAE.

We can't force quota system doesn't work everywhere. India provides cheap teachers so schools hire them.

Why should I have problem if they have 4 times Gujranwalas from india, egypt or africa or from whatever coutnry in UAE. For us only our people matter if they are getting what they need then I don't give a damn what others are getting from UAE.

Many of my pakistani friends are working as teachers in Gulf countries, indians are not the only ones offered these jobs.

Were you close to having a tangle with India last month? Wars and armies cost money. $55 billion every years is big prop to the Indian economy. Pull that out and Modi will be too busy patching is leaking a*ss then acting tough guy with Pakistan.

Modi's 55 inch chest would shrivel to bones ....
