U.S.. Treasury's Lew to travel to China March 28-31 -Treasury

Now Latin America too? Japan must be waiting very anxiously for Sam's approval nod
Getting more hilarious by the day as deadline approach, everybody buying the last minute ticket before hopping on board the HSR train. It's like telling Japan to move aside if she ain't buying

So much for a souvereign nation:disagree:, eventually this AIIB affaire will become a global issue, World bank and IMF chiefs knew that they will have kiss and good bye this world if they don't act now so Christine Lagarde now crawling to Beijing begging for cooperation.

yeah, she said IMF is not in the infrastructure business so there's no competition with AIIB. She even encourages for cooperation during the interview.

(Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew will travel to China on Friday to meet Chinese officials next week, the U.S. Treasury said in a statement on Wednesday.
It said Lew would travel from March 28 to 31 "to hold discussions with senior Chinese officials on the U.S., Chinese, and global economies."
Lew will meet Chinese officials on Monday and then leave for San Francisco on Tuesday, the statement added. (Reporting by Tim Ahmann; Editing by Sandra Maler)

:rofl::rofl:First Americans bashed China's AIIB initiative like no brainers, now they're rushing to meet the end of march dead line set by China. I don't want to speculate what will be the secret deal, maybe China will give US face saving by invite it to Join AIIB instead of let US to beg us in order to get in. It will be a great laugh of 21st century if US is able to jump into the train on time while Japan missed the opportunity  and AIIB countries will all say Sayōnara to Japan:wave:
(People still remember the former ask and pressure the latter not to join AIIB while itself is preparing to go to Beijing for secret deal:disagree:)

Now the count down start for the deadline...let see who will jump in on time..seem like Canada is eager to take part...we shall see about that.:smokin:
Are you sure it's about the new China bank or is he going there to ask China to buy more treasury bonds?

If that is the case, AIIB is not really a sovereign bank.
