U.S.-China Team in Space?

Don't be so naive, Americans are not idiots, if they don't foresee any interests to have cooperation with China, they will tell China to get lost, China can only have a wet dream to learn anything from them not even the 1960s tech. American interest to cooperation with China is to learn what China is up to in space and monitor Chinese's space program more closely.

Exactly I wonder why China express interest with cooperating with US?

I thing it's to open more options for our future generation to space adventure...knowing that the current cooperation with U.S is insignificant...both side are still distrust each other, space diplomacy and smiling is a good starter to improve our relation. Chinese space industries shown that we're capable to adventure alone, hence we're on good position to bargain any future cooperation and not let U.S dictate it own term on us.
