Sharing some U.S. military history with military history enthusiasts!

On May 16th, 2015, the U.S. military will be celebrating what we refer to as, the “U.S. Armed Forces Day.” This day provides Americans across the U.S. an opportunity to show gratitude and support to our troops in all branches of the American military. It was established by President Truman, in his effort to unify military celebration into one single day. This day is celebrated through military parades in various cities across the country for the general public.

A close, but not quite similar, comparison to this day in Pakistan would be Pakistan Day in March, or Pakistan’s Defense day in September.
