Pakistani startups Groopic and Tunacode have been accepted to be part of this summer’s Blackbox Connect program.

The two-week Blackbox Connect program is held in Silicon Valley for international startups and gives them the opportunity to live and collaborate with like-minded entrepreneurs from around the world. The immersion program is backed by Google Entrepreneurs. This summer’s course runs from July 15 to 26.

Groopic, once the app launches, will cleverly put the photographer back into photos with his or her buddies. Eyedeus, the company behind Groopic, was a part of the first batch of incubatees at Plan9, the Punjab government’s incubator.

Tunacode specialises in optimizing complex software to GPUs.
