5 Indian solders were killed in Kashmir tho, how embarrassing... most countries would respond with immediate war. Not India however, too cowardly.

Islamabad: Pakistani army said two of its soldiers were seriously wounded in a violation of the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir by Indian troops on Wednesday – third incident on the de facto border between the two parts of the disputed Himalayan region in ten days.

The LoC violation occurred in Pandu Sector, a military statement said, adding that two Pakistani soldiers “received critical bullet injuries.”

It said Pakistani military strongly protested the Indian violation in a hotline contact Wednesday between the Directors General of Military Operations of the two countries.

The Pakistani DGMO rejected an earlier Indian allegation that Pakistani troops killed five Indian soldiers in cross-LoC firing at the weekend in the Poonch sector, telling his Indian counterpart there was “no truth in it.”

Pakistani foreign ministry in a statement on Tuesday had termed the Indian accusation “baseless and unfounded” and asserted that Pakistan remains committed to the 2003 LoC ceasefire agreement between the two governments.

On July 27, Pakistani military had accused Indian troops of killing a Pakistani soldier and injuring another in “unprovoked firing” across the LoC in the Poonch sector.
