So tell me how big is the brigade, how many equipment are in there, from where? Which satellite? Just use some common sense, India is amassing military at the border and the Chinese are stupid enough to just let is be a lopsided balance? Do we have the money? Yes, Do we have the soldiers? The reason china has not forward deployed many units on indian front is because,its doctrine calls for rapid reaction and mobilization from the interior,unlike china india doesn't have territorial claims in arunachal sector(indian claims are in ladakh front) and because terrain is very unsuitable for deployment of mechanized forces which compose bulk of PLA.

Please study problems with diesel engines in high altitude,particularly air cooled.India has been studying this area for a long time and has made modifications including special lubricants and tools for its vehicles.
No one is claiming 1000 km without structural modifications until 2019.But 450-600km is easy with no modifications.600 km is the range of the Yakhont/oniks from which brahmos is derived.So why does it surprise you?You seem to only answer points with smilies like a child.
We use brahmos on static land targets because its almost impossible to intercept,has capability to operate in mountain terrain and ability to kill hardened targets to an extent.Your 1000 cheap subsonic missiles are largely useless in mountain terrain as they rely on terrain hugging flight which leads to collisions in flight path in such uneven broken terrain.Second any that actually came through would be easy to shoot down due to speed,even AAA guns can take care of it.Finally it doesn't have necessary penetrating power or warhead weight to threaten hardened targets.Don't believe me,just look at how probably the best subsonic cruise missile in the world- tomahawk performed against a 3rd rate airforce like syria.59 launched,couldn't even dent a single airbase.That is a fact,you are just jumping in your own head.See for urself what happened with tomahawk.Our shelters right now are capable of handling over 1000 pound warhead attacks which is more than enough for cruise missiles.We are building more over 2000 pd warhead attacks which would make them invulnerable to anything but heaviest bunker busters which require aircraft to carry and deliver at short ranges over targets,and we have air dominance due to ur handicap and limited congested bases.
