The two parties held a meeting on the Kathmandu City Hall on the 17th and reaffirmed the consensus reached by the two parties in February this year. The name of the new party is the Communist Party of Nepal and the guiding ideology is Marxism-Leninism. The Communist Party of Nepal will implement a joint leadership system (double chairman system), which will stipulate the long-term use of the Communist Party of the Communist Party of the United (MILELE) as the symbol of the New Party.

The new Nepalese Communist Party has set up a secretariat with a total of nine people. It is composed of important leaders of the two parties, including the chairman of the original Nepali Communist Party (United Marxist-Leninism) Olli and the chairman of the Nepali Communist Party (Maoist Center) Prachanda. The Politielle of the Communist Party of the United States (United Marxist-Leninist) served as General Secretary, and Shrestha of the Communist Party (Maoist Center) served as a spokesman for the Party. There are 43 party standing committees and 441 party central committees.

Prior to the formal announcement of the merger, Olli and Prachanda announced the dissolution of their respective political parties and went to the Nepal Election Commission to register for the new party.

Oli, who is now Nepal's Prime Minister, said at a commemorative gathering on the same day that the new party registered today is "a good omen" for the future of Nepal.

According to a news report from China News Service, Ollie said on the same day that it is now a good time for the development of the country. The Communist Party of Nepal will honor its commitment to bring political stability to society and promote economic development. Prachanda said that the merger of the two parties is like the reaction of hydrogen and oxygen to produce water, and it will never be separated again.

The Communist Party of Nepal has 441 members of the Central Committee. The Communist Party of Nepal (United Malay) has 241 seats; the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) has 200 seats.

The Nepalese Communist Party has 43 standing members. The Communist Party of Nepal (United Malay) holds 25 seats; the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) holds 18 seats.

Since the Communist Party of Nepal (United Malay) and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) were originally the largest party in the parliament and the second largest party, the Communist Party of Nepal has become the largest party in the parliament.

In the history of Nepal, there have been dozens of communist parties. In recent years, the most important communist parties in Nepal’s political arena are the Communist Party of Nepal (United Malay) and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center).

Prof. Rigmy, chairman of Nepal’s China Research Center, told Xinhua News Agency reporters that the two communist parties fulfilled their promises and eventually merged. This is a very good thing and conveyed positive and positive information.

However, Legme also pointed out that in history the communist party of Nepal was divided up and the new Nepalese Communist Party still faced many challenges in maintaining internal unity.

In February of this year, the two parties signed a merger agreement and reached consensus on the establishment of a new Nepalese Communist Party. According to the agreement, the president and the deputy speaker were assumed by the members of the Communist Party of Nepal (United Malay), and the Communist Party (Maoist Center) was given the position of Vice President and Speaker. All these posts are elected by the Parliament.

Great news. One big problem/weakness of the left is their extreme self-criticism and tendency to divide into smaller units. Even a Maoist party has a tendency to generate a number of Maoist parties just because they disagree about some minor theoretical debates.

Then, the Communist unity government in Nepal will be more stable and long-lasting. This is especially important to protect the country's political sovereignty from intervention by India.

The left needs to learn o come together on larger theoretical positions otherwise, the right, which tends to stick together, will always form the largest bloc even though they may not have majority.

Next, when will Bhutan changed hands towards China? Why are some countries in Asia still so desperate to hold out against a rising China, even with BRI coming around? What are they waiting for?
