TV drama series about the Pakistan Movement

I think that only applies to interior Sindh and Southern Punjab. Rest of Pakistan does not have a problem with 'zamindars'. Most of the electables are not huge landowners but patriarchs of biradaris and other clan/tribal structures.

And jusy to make ot clear NWFP, Punjab, Balochistan or Sindh would never have been under "Brahmin" servitude for long. Simple maths. With 70% plus majority it would have been the biania who would be at risk. You can even see that in Kashmir with Pandits. Majority always has a impact. Even if ML had never existed our destiny would not be with India.
We all witnessed during partition what majority can do if given a free hand, and quite frankly I am quite happy with the current situation of population distribution although few amends would have been better like a more well combed Western UP and Bengal.

Pretty much spot on, that's why Sardar Patel worked day and night for the partition/expulsion of Western Muslims, which he knew would tear apart the Indian union in brutal civil war.

A United South Asia would have never worked out. The minorities in the Muslim majority provinces would always be the minority.
Same goes for Muslims in the Non-Muslim majority provinces. Muslims would always be the minority in those provinces.

Partition just had to happen. And to be quite frank I am very grateful for partition.

Minorities always yield to majorities. This is a basic rule of thumb.

It was unnatural. It was unity imposed by a colonial power from Europe. When they left in 1947 so did the imposed unity. Here are the successors to the Raj today ...

Exactly the diversity in South Asia is more than the diversity in Europe.

There are hundreds of ethnicities and languages in South Asia.

What does an Urdu Speaker have an common with a Tamil speaker from South India?

What does a Bangla speaker from Bangladesh have in common with a Hindi speaker.

Not much.

Cabinet mission 1946 was the best solution which bjp and PML accepted and congress refused
It was three units federation with right to withdrawing (current Pakistan +punjab) ,
assam+full bengal) and rest

The way you described of a drama series that imbibes from the colonal era, fall of last Mughal territory Delhi to Pakistan movement and independence.

A Pakistan television drama serial called Tabeer was made and aired in the 70s. Its on youtube.

Another is Jinnah se Quaid made in 1996. Both these drama serials were directed by ace director Mohsin Ali, known for his quality work. PTV created lot of content in the 70s 80s with regards to Pakistan movement, War of 1965, 71 muchof it not available online.

With foreign funding into our private TV channels, I doubt any channel will ever make a series on Pakistan movement. There are too many agendas at work. Last was Dastaan by Hum TV, who later on jumped into feminist subjects more popular with NGOs and foreign sponsors. Only PTV can do it again but its in shambles financially.

.
PTI government is making documentaries about foreigners but ignoring stories of divine inspiration that played out during the political movement known as Pakistan Movement.

Only ideological people can do this --- Our drama /film makers can only make cheap copy of bollywood crap -- there intellect doesn't go beyond vulgar dance, items songs, love stories etc., ----
