Turkmenistan is the first foreign customer for the Israeli-made CombatGuard armoured vehicle showed for the first time during a military parade for the Turkmenistan's Independence Day parade on October 27, 2017.

The CombatGuard is a new generation of 4x4 armoured combat vehicle designed and manufactured by IMI (Israel Military Industries). The vehicle was unveiled for the first time during the International Defence and Security Exhibition Eurosatory in June 2014.

Well, Turks helped Jews during WW2 and even before that when Spain expelled Jews back in 1490s.

But cause of the close relationship is, Turkey decided to enter Western camp when Soviets threatened Turkey by raising claims on the Bosporus after WW2. We entered Western camp and generally adopted their policies.

A lot of Israeli Jews are Ashkenazi Jews which are descended from Khazars. Khazars themselves are a turkic people.
