Turkish Republican People's Party Proposes Vote of No Confidence against Davutoglu for Wrong Foreign Policies

May 27, 2012

Republican People's Party, the main opposition party in the Turkish Parliament, presented a vote of no confidence against Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, accusing him of approaching wrong foreign policies that threaten Turkey's national and external interests.

The proposal included detailed information about Davutoglu's wrong policies, pointing out to Justice and Development Party's stance on the Syrian issue, which is biased to the opposition, adding that it played a main role in increasing violence in Syria.

It noted that the Turkish relations have deteriorated with all neighboring countries, which is obvious through the tension with Iraq and Iran.

:disagree:

The Turkish government needs to make sure it's neighbors are it's allies, before it turn to the west, because the west does not care about Turkey.

How many members CHP has in Parliament???? even they cant bring the no confidence motion on the floor of Parliament:undecided: BUT all powerful newly elected Syrian parliament ca bring no confidence against president Al-Assad, isn't it?

. . . . .
I wonder how these baby killers will live with themselves once Assad is brought down?

.
turkey will live with permanently alienated neighbors in the future - this is what you get for electing pan-turkicists whose madness exceeds all institutional and constitutional bounds of a petit, modern, secular turkey. pan-turkics have slaughtered the bird, and it is now a matter of inevitability that the bird's death will be avenged with the extermination of all the turkics.

. .
I really enjoy iajj's post, he always brings new things to the floor :smitten:

Now he says all Turks will be exterminated :what:
By whom?

Edit: Iajj are you a dalek?

lol, it's more so Kemal's personal views than the parties. as we know, Kemal is a Alevi and he wants to support an Alevi... nothing new.

not that CHP doesn't like to make fun of Islam and Muslims, i won't be surprised if BDP also starts showing support to assad.

Alawi and Alevi are to different things mate and even though I once thought that Davutoglu kicked ***, I have to admit that he screwed up a lot.

i don't know what kind of magical connection you see between chp and assad i certainly can't see it. What i see is this "zero problems with neighbours" policy has exploded in AKP's face badly.

Without UN approval we have no means of starting a military campaign I also don't see what AKP is doing to liberate syria except sheltering refugees and talking, yeah keep talking. Those refugees also need to go they certainly aren't my brothers and i don't want them to use my country's resources freely.

Also, syrians look quite happy while assad is bombing the **** out of them, because majority still supports assad. Typical arab slave mentality, we should have never interfered. Let them gain their freedom on their own just as we did after WWI. Remember our motto "Ya istiklal ya ölüm" means: freedom or death. As long as syrians do not search for their freedom nobody can give it to them.

You guys are really something. You critisizing zero-problem foreign policy, but can anyone tell me what the f@ck Assad's massacres has to do with Turkey's zero problem policy? You are taking an apple and telling that apple it is an idiot because it can't transfrom itself into and orange. Your comparison with zero-problem with Assad is exactly like that analogy. You critisize for the sake of critisicm, nothing constructve what so ever - just like the CHP mentality.

1: If Turkey did not let the Syrians cross over to Turkey and give them shelter psycho Assad would massacre them
2: If Turkey invaded Syria with full scale force we would be dragged into a big mess
3: Stop bashing the Arabs. They haven't experienced democracy in their life, so what we are seeing in ME is a phase towards democracy. They are going through very hard times, we should do whatever we can to help those forces.
