This is nothing but a deadly weapon to shot down enemy helos but you need something bigger if you want to protect yourself from attack planes

Cabatli do you have info on the engine i hear that there will be a 1,800hp turbine engine in the works along with a 1,500hp engine.

Only 1500 hp MTU engine is being considered for now. But not certain, we can see a different engine on the first prototype of Altay.

Personally, i think tribune engine has no chance to get selected in this project.

The south Korean engine still in development is also being considered. What i was referring to though was the announcement SSM made about a 1,800hp engine. (trying to find the link to it)

Aah, I remember

The say first prototype will have 1500hp German engine but there is a possiblty to select Korean engine in future.

Yes it seems that might be selected for later batches but made in turkey maybe under the tech transfer deal.
 
I also read on Wikipedia that Turkey is going to produce over 1000 armoured vehicle.
probaly APC or something..
Or do they mean the 6x6wheeled one?
Can someone provide some information on this?

It could be FNSS ACV 300 or ACV 350 maybe...

Nono that is already in service and turkey has over 1500 of them.

This one is Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle.

Condenser

In recent years, there has been a growing market demand for vehicles equipped with air conditioning systems for improved driver and passenger comfort, consequently vehicle producers are nowadays manufacturing more air conditioned vehicles than ever before to catch up with the current market demand. KALE has therefore expanded its range of products by moving into production of condensers and aligned itself with the current market trend.

In 1998, KALE commenced mass production of condensers for air conditioning systems, under aluminium brazing (CAB) technology and started supplying to OEM customers in Turkey and abroad.

Condensers are an integral part of the air conditioning system and designed to condense and cool down the coolant gas which is circulated by a compressor in the A/C loop.

InterCooler...

Intercooler, also known as charge air cooler, principally functions as an air cooling heat exchanger. Generally fitted with the turbo charged engines, intercoolers have been mainly utilized in trucks, buses, tractors and high performance vehicles. By the mid 1970's, intercoolers were first mounted on the turbo charged engines in a limited way. By the utilization of intercoolers, harmful fuel emissions are reduced significantly whilst engine performance is boosted and fuel economy is improved. This function is achieved by the reduction of air inlet temperatures from 120 °C to 200 °C while passing through the turbo charger and bringing it down to the level of an air outlet temperature, which is approximately + 40 °C above the ambient temperature for Euro I engines , + 25 °C for Euro II engines and + 15 °C for Euro III engines.

And today due to new environmental regulations on fuel emissions, particularly on heavy truck, bus and other commercial vehicles , vehicle manufacturers are required to install intercoolers with Euro series engines.

The concept of Engine Cooling Modules has been ultimately prompted by global car producers to attain productivity and cost saving in vehicle assembly operations. An engine cooling module is simply an assembly of components, typically consisting of a radiator, condenser (A/C Type), intercooler and fan motor & shroud.

At present, KALE produces the whole range of heat exchangers and plastic injection parts as assembly components of engine cooling modules whilst sourcing other parts from its suppliers. This new range of engine cooling modules has been widely preferred by vehicle manufacturers in recent years and KALE has been well positioned to supply its customers with engine cooling modules over the last decade and so.

Heating Systems

KALE, designs and manufactures heater systems in accordance with heat transfer requirement of any engine driven vehicle. In principle, auto heater systems are designed to provide heat transfer from engine coolant into vehicle compartment. Heat transfer is typically generated with the circulation of engine coolant through heater core whereby fan & motor assemblies are used to provide air circulation in order to help distribute the heated air in the vehicle compartment. Depending upon the design of a heater system, copper or aluminium heater cores are installed into heater assemblies, with housings in coated steel or plastic material. Auto heater systems are designed to provide heating capacity, starting from 3500 kcal / h and upwards in accordance with the required capacity with a control unit of either manual or electronic system.

Oil Cooler

KALE's product line for industrial type of oil coolers covers a wide range of applications. Oil coolers are specifically designed and produced for oil cooling function in the field of hydraulic systems, engines, transmission and power steering systems.

At KALE, oil coolers are manufactured under two distinct production processes, namely round pipe type and Tube & Fin type oil coolers. Both types are used low pressure working conditions.
