To avoid a naval battle, Egypt would be wise in a way to pull their entire navy from destruction to hide out in the Red Sea, until their navy gets more European vessels.

If you have enough Surface to ship missiles and air to ship missiles pushing back the Turkish navy, then the only naval concern would be subs. Egypt has only about 4 decent modern subs, these would pull back too. And you would use every Egyptian ASW helicopter to scout and destroy any Turkish subs within 50km from shore in the North. This allows your armed forces to finish off the militias/terrorists in Tripoli.

Supply routes could be diverted to around Africa.

Have SAMs guard the skies.

Mistral is not a logistical asset and with the current setup completely toothless and defenceless. Egypt does not operate Su-35 or Mig-35. Egypt's navy is a complete joke and embarrassment. They have no maritime tradition nor experience in utilising their outdated assets effectively. Oh, did I mention the lack of interoperability?

In short, one-fourth of the Turkish Navy would be enough to completely annihilate the Egyptian coast-guard-calibre navy.
