Nineteen Pakistani students who survived a brutal terrorist attack in Pakistan's Peshawar six months ago toured Turkey as guests of the Turkish Armed Forces. Students and their families visited Gallipoli or Gelibolu in northwestern Turkey.
The trip aims to boost the morale of victims who suffered from trauma when seven Taliban militants raided a school where children of Pakistani officers attend in December 2014 and killed 150 people.
Guys there's another but a detailed source in Turkish. I have translated it below.
45 Pakistani nationals which 19 of them are students survived the Peshawar attack have visited the Gallipoli Peninsula and National Cemeteries as the guests of Turkish Armed Forces General Staff.
The group compromises by the surviving teachers, students and their families. They have arrived to Turkey at Thursday. They have been hosted at the social facilities of 5th Corps in Marmara Ereğlisi (North of Gallipoli, Eastern Thrace, EUR). They have made cultural visits to Istanbul and Edirne.
They have been informed about the Gallipoli Campaign and the Turkish soldiers by guides. They have also been at 11 different rooms at Çanakkale Saga Introduction Center to simultaneously witness the Battle of Canakkale. They have payed tribute to the fallen at the cemetery of the heroic 57th Infantry Regiment* where Kemal Atatürk have given his famous order to the unit: "I am not ordering you to attack. I am ordering you to die. During the time before we die other forces and commanders will take our place."
*:As a sign of respect, there is no 57th Regiment in the modern Turkish Army.
57th's Cemetery:
Laterly, the guests have visited the Çanakkale Martyrs' Memorial.
The CO leading the delegation, Lt. Col. Bilal Hazret (PA) said "We are being hosted here in Turkey as guests for a week. We would like to thank everyone for their hospitality and warmness. Additionally I would like to thank to the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Armed Forces personnel whom have always stood with us."
"Specially with understanding the importance of thousands of fallen laid underground, we also try to learn what happened here." said a Pakistani student.
