And no a blasphemy law is not like the holocaust law.

No one contested that Jews weren't killed during WWII but what a lot of people have problems with is the number of people who are claimed to have been killed. This is similar to Armenian inflating the numbers of dead in their WWI clashes with Turkey not to mention glossing over the fact that they sided with the USSR in attacking Muslim Turks for which Turkey had no choice but to retaliate in defense.

Furthermore, as you read in my post I likened Blasphemy laws to Defamation laws already in place around the world to protect people from malicious slander.

I agree with you on the point of education.

However, I disagree on the point relating to Sharia because if that was the case Muslim societies (ex. ancient Baghdad, Al-Andalus, Mughal/Ottoman empires, etc...) would not have traditionally always been far superior to their European counterparts. The war against Sharia is waged by Western nations largely because of it's economic model.

The reason western nations have achieved the level of success they currently enjoy is due in part three reasons:
1. Them employing concepts found within Sharia which many Muslim countries do not
2. Their use of slave labour as well as the occupation/colonization of territory that belonged to others stealing that lands resources for their own benefit.
3. Forcing their economic systems on others where their fiat currencies are used as foreign reserves instead of commodities (ex. gold, silver, platinum, rice, etc...) giving them the ability to accrue large debts at the cost of non western nations (allows them to wage wars like those on Afghanistan and Iraq or any nation that doesn't do things their way via sanctions).

Do you think the US would be as successful as it is today without the use of slave labor that worked their cotton fields? Or without the Chinese who toiled/died to build their railroads because of British colonization and wars on their native lands?

Sharia/Islam will greatly enhance our economic growth, law and order, etc... Countries and their leaders that abide by Sharia do not have to deal with problems such as prostitution, drugs, theft, etc... so instead of valuable resources having to be allocated to law enforcement they can go towards benefiting the poor. For example, countries like Saudi Arabia have a population equivalent to NY but in the formers case the amount of crime that occurs in a year takes place in NY within a week. Furthermore, the economic model ascribed in Sharia more equally distributes wealth, prevents corruption and defines the boundaries an economy can operate within which would have averted modern day economic failings like the credit crisis.

Secularism is the by product of Christianity's and Judaism's failings which Islam doesn't suffer from. This is why, when Muslim states were more observant of Sharia they witnessed rapid rates of progress historically especially in comparison to non-Muslim states. The promotion of the secular agenda has another role which is to liberalize foreign economies meant to enslave both Muslims and non-Muslims alike through the use of the IMF and World Bank as well as ideas like "Free Trade" and you simply need to look at the progress Africa , Latin America and Asia made during the 60's with independent/state regulated economies in comparison to how many of them did in the 80s and beyond the more they liberalized their economies at the advice of western nations.
