sure professionals may provide us more technical info about how it works but still the basic is; Standoff jammers stay outside of the lethal radius of hostile defenses and jam tracking devices i.e radars for avoiding detection. they use powerful transmitters radiating interfering signals toward enemy's radar, and by blocking the receiver they blind it but sure for doing it, first they detect the threat and you can also use it against enemy communications! a communication device works like a radar anyway

It is not an indigenous AWACS, Stand off Jammer will be used for Electronic Attack enemy Radars and Communicattion ! Aircrafts for SOJ Project will be equippt with Aselsan Electronic Attack System, which can Attack Electronic at a Range up to 200 km.

The plane will be ordered from abroad and TAI will modify the aircraft with fully indigenous Aselsan jammer systems as they are seen on mock-up...
