Turkey has declared NAVTEX in offshore Antalya until August 2. The Oruc Reis Research/Survey Vessel, the Ataman Supply Ship, and the Cengizhan Anchor Handling Vessel will be operating over the region. The Turkish Navy will also be present for seismic research activities.

Yep. We are getting some more news over here, apparently 17 TDK combat ships have left Aksaz Deniz Üssü today.

Moreover, there has been a lot of activity from THK and HAF in the area during the past 30hrs or so.

There are a couple of sources talking about leave cancellation across all the Hellenic Army branches, but nothing corroborating this yet. It's probably nothing (the specific sources 1,2 are generally too eager to publish something instead of screening it for accuracy).

Will keep you posted if anything more comes up/out.

I managed to counter-reference the leave cancellation claim though about Greek forces. It seems to be factual.

This is a pretty standard response, those types of messages to and fro have been happening for the better part of a decade now. I think this is the first time though that Turkey is actually moving to drill inside what Greece considers its EEZ.

Turkey replied to both Greek and Cypriot navwarns, cancelling those in turn (that is how these things tend to go).
