Turkey Chooses Russia Over NATO

Our officials stated so many times that NATO allies are our primary choice but buying of the shelf is not an option for Turkey.

We should ask; why our "Team Players" refuses ToT whereas Russia and China agrees ?

ToT is a very strange concept in a market economy.
Basically people are asking for a free lunch.

You seem to not understand that the choice in this particular contract was in large part driven by the willingness of the competitors to allow transfer of technology. The end goal being a more robust Turkish capability to design and field similar systems. i.e. Self reliance. The initial Chinese selection was also met with NATO and US unhappiness. Regardless, if the US was willing to divulge some of the sensitive tech Turkey wanted, I'm sure the Turks would have went Patriot.

I think Turkey is not choosing Russia over Nato . what they are doing is establishing themselves in defense industry firmly by indigenous defense industry in every sector from military electronics to warship armored vehicle tanks and fighter to air defense equipment . But building everything in house in short time is not possible where due to current situation they need to have air defense system to counter any threat . moreover the don't want any off the self produce but TOT to speed up indigenous development of long range air defense system which NATO countries not providing but Russia and Probably china too offered. due to long standing relation with and familiarity with western product it is not at least in short time not possible for Turkey to change to Russian equipment .

I don't remember there being an outcry when Nato Greece acquired the s-300s. European exceptionalism, right.

As for loyalty, thanks America, arming, training and providing recruitment space for the PKK is greatly welcomed from the future victims of terror attacks in Turkey.

If Nato were really committed to one another and fighting terrorism, then the biggest terror threat to any member state by far, the PKK, would be given priority.
But the reality is NATO is now just a platform for the US to further it's interests.
Of course fellow members can do well if they choose to make american interests their own interest then they can say it's for their own interest too.

And ISIS is an organisation which threatens all NATO countries, as well as others.
PKK only threatens Turkey, so the rest of the world will prioritize accordingly.
Once ISIS is defeated, second order problems will get more attention.

The guy in the red circle is a known and wanted PKK terrorist called Abdi Ferhad Şahin. The US isn't just cooperating with the YPG, which itself is the Syrian wing of the PKK, but with Turkish PKK militants too.

And no, "second order" problems wont get more attention. The PKK have been carrying out terror attacks for almost 40 years. Once ISIS are defeated nothing is going to change as far as that goes. If anything it will get worse with the plethora of arms and equipment and tens of thousands of trained militants to pass on their knowledge to the next generation of PKK fighters.

Imam Hasan and Hussain (AS) has nothing to do with this, they stand for their Religion , standing against bowing to someone other than God they choose to let their heads go , that is called dedication and Sacrifice ..
Islam has some history of not choosing Sides , they remain neutral on many occasion , but they leader of Islam keep Islam and its Interest first .. as today religion has been replaced by Nationalism , so lets just say this whole example you give is invalid ..

Of course they are Enemies to Russia .. but what will you say that India keep Relations with Israel and Iran too ? are they not worse enemies to each other than USA is to Russia ?
