. . . .
Aselpod and Db-110 are not similar systems. Aselpod will be similar with Sniper.

I know, But i was just wandering went it will enter service. It was said it would be delivered Mid-2011... Perhaps there where some delays or of some kind.

. . .
Akıncı bro if I am not wrong it is Goodrich DB-110 Reconnaissance System

http://isr.goodrich.com/Documents/DB-110.pdf

-it uses SWIR

-it seems as a real-time LOROP sensor Goodrich’s DB-110 Dual-Band airborne reconnaissance sensor is a derivative of Goodrich’s SYERS-2 multi-spectral sensor (which is for U 2 )

-our Pakistani brothers already have them :pakistan:

-and greeks :)

Why, do you have all the data to compare and conclude that? Your Nationalism leaves little room for intelligence.

Condor2 LOROP, distance 90km, altitude 24,000ft, speed 863km/h

.............

It is not my conclusion, SSM officials accepted that they chose Condor 2 because of offsets, national contribution rates and it's price not it's performance. If we take only performance as a criteria, this is a reality Db-110 is a better pod. I will scan it tomorrow, there is a photo which i couldn't find on internet and taken from 80 nm at 40.000 feet with Db-110 pod.
(Turks may look No:148 Page:100 S&H for detailed information)

.
Again, what about backing up your claims? i also can state realities but it will not change state of reality.
BTW where from Turkey will substitute SAR/GMTI Reconnaissance System, it was part of the deal

From 80nm distance a petrol tanker which at 72 nm distance 40.000 feet (NIRS 4.5+ quality)
1nm=1852m

Briefly tells Goodrich couldn't provide offset, price and national production requirements probably due to US laws.

Again, better at what? how better? where is the data to compare with?

Db-110 can take photos from longer distance and more high quality. Show me one photo of Condor2 which has been taken from 150 km at NIIRS 4.5+ quality or better.

First Image is a full frame, because it is oblique photography the distance between aircraft and points on image vary drastically on vertical axis hence has importance. The distance between aircraft and center of that frame is ~93km, the distance between aircraft and chimney(which is up along the shore ) is ~138km, the chimney is 300m of height.

There is no NIIRS 4.5, so they probably mean NIiSR 2/3 which is a range of 4.5-9m 2.5-4.5m resolution

NIIRS 2 for 4.5-9m visible spectrum image
