Well, at least Apple will put $350 billion in place of this investment vacuum. Apple have lots and lots and lots of moneyz these days. Thus, China can now save its huge bundle of money and foreign reserves for better things outside of the US market.

It is less harmful to an already mature industrious base.

Unlike the SP2012 which is basically an agrarian country with SSA-style manufacturing, China is strong enough to cope with all protectionist regimes.

Such policy, will first, as you wish, harms primitive pre-industrial countries first.

Junking dollar will hurt China in short term and will hurt US in long term. It helps China to finish de-dollarization strategy.
