We've been living and working in the suburbs long before Trump. The whole American car thing involves office parks in the suburbs with big parking lots

The segregation is along economic lines. It can be expensive moving out of shared housing in cities to the suburbs. All the utilities and the machines that go with it have to be maintained by the owner (heating/AC/water/plumbing/electrical/gas/solar systems)

California is already 50% or more Hispanic, and together with Black population, Whites may already be a minority in California (which they do not really care about).

Why Africa is poor---reason is geography.

In order to be successful, a country must have several geographical characteristics:

1) temperate climate which is good for agriculture and prevents spread of diseases

2) navigable rivers, which were used as natural transport highways in 19th century and stimulated trade, specialization and capital accumulation

3) access to ocean and good ports in order to trade with the rest of the world

4) a lot of arable land

----also a required non-geographic characteristic is DEVELOPED INSTITUTIONS AND GOOD GOVERNANCE

Europe and US has all of this...Africa has few
