US lost in Vietnam - nobody question it.

US is absolutely victorious in Iraq in all aspects; operations wise (military) and reforms wise (democratic revolution). US have stationed a small military force in Iraq at present, because no point in stationing a big force there (expensive). And Iraq is on its feet again, with a democratic leadership setup. This is good news.

If the current chapter of the Afghan Civil War is settled with Afghan Taliban embracing the existing democratic leadership system, this would be a reforms-based victory for US. Pakistan desire the same endgame. On a positive note, Al-Qaeda Network and TTP are toast in Afghanistan (and Pakistan), and these are important mutual victories for US and Pakistan in the region. Afghan Taliban can be reasoned with, and cleansed of wrong elements.
