This should be implemented nation wide. Pulling rickshaw with Lungi is very dangerous.

I'd like to see the elimination of rickshaw in my life time though.

It will be in the next 10 years at least the human hauling part. A lot of rickshaws already equipped with battery.

It will happen sooner as BD will graduate from rickshaws to motorized rickshaws. Right now many have no means of graduating to an expensive alternative, but when BD prospers then you will see the change soon.
