What's new

Triple talaq is better than MURDERING wife, AIMPLB tells Supreme Court

And you should grow some brains.

Instead of reinforces your further stupidity by losing everything you had in argument. You have failed yet once again to point that it is allowed in religious scripture to beat the wife. I can even show you another news where a cleric in lebanon says man cn us drugs to have you know what with their wives if they are ugly. So all these stupidities have nothing to do with religion, rather they can't produce any reference in hadeeth or in Quranic verses

@Indrajit @Soumitra and you. If you want to have any discussion of wife beating topic kindly start a new thread and discuss on it. This thread is not a platform for this.

Salarsikander leave it bro. We need ur opinion on triple talaq for this thread.

There is no double say on the word that 'light beating' is allowed but there is something called 'ijtehad'. You can amend laws for the better in Islam with consensus. There can be wisdom applied according to the changing times.

It is better to give one word of divorce at one time. Sometimes people want to patch up. After 3 times talaq, you cannot remarry without 'halala' i.e. the woman marrying another man and if she ever get divorced, may marry the one she first divorced with.@salarsikander @Soumitra

"Men have authority over women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand." - An-Nisa 34 ayah

OK let me show you I edited my post. You may want to check. I'll find the thing for you now

The guy @Indrajit quoted it rightly from Quran. But that was something that would be valid in those times, now things have changed and people do not like to act like this. By no means it meant violence or hurt, you can look into 'tafseer' why this order was given at a certain time for certain reason. It was not a general case.

The reason for this are the wives who are not guarding their chastity in absence of their husbands.

You should learn when to quit.

From earlier this year:

First of Ijhethad doesn't mean you change everything. That you might as well make Swine halal by ijtehad. Secondly You have not quoted me a single verse or HADEETH Which says as such

In Islam it's order to leave wife if she isn't good
There is no murdering but ppl do fr there own benefits for money or so called respect or honour rather it's religious

There is no such thing as to doors closed, it is a thing of jurisprudence and stays forever. It is very useful when seeking out solutions to a problem regarding religion.
After the first 200 years (since the 7th century), the doors to this was closed, right? Iqbal wrote a lot against it.

Well, honestly, I have no say in this.

I tell what I hear from ulemas. :ashamed: It bothers me only as much as it would bother my neighborhood, my society. :)

It all depends. You can have fatwas but then again anything which is not in the light of Quran or Sunnah cannot be justified.
For that matter one could completely go off track and make stuff halal which is haram

In lslamic legal terms, if you go for a solution to something, first consult Quran and Sunnah and if you don't find anything then apply sound judgement and decide what you may consider best in any given situation.

This is how it is implied generally.
That's it!
No need to go in depth, because then comes the sectarian divides and what not. So better to keep it simple :)
