Treasury slaps sanctions on Iran after ballistic missile launch

evil empire built on the rape, genocide of the Native Americans and profiteering through slavery.

There's 55 countries in the Americas. The US territory didn't have a monopoly on treating the Native Americans badly. Most of the Native populations in 1492 lived in the warmer areas closer to the equator and suffered the wrath of the Spanish settlers. The Spanish even made it almost all the way up to Canada along the California coast. By the time the first English people set foot on Plymouth rock in 1620 (128 years after the Spanish landed) the Native American genocide had already been going on for over a century in many parts of the Americas.

The US didn't have a monopoly on slavery either...there was African/other slavery in Mexico and Central/South America before the English ever set foot in what is now the USA.

I know all that. I did history and geography upto A level and one module included both Americas - North and South. And as I said I know like any country America has some lovely people (I grew up on diet of Hollywood and US music ) but I am afraid the way the state has evolved and where it is now is a monster. What makes it scary is all the power at it's disposal. Slavery was practiced in the Muslim world as well long before North American slavery but what is conspicous about the US slavery is the epic scale. Hell you have nearly over 10% of your population with slave background - think about that.

However what I think jars me most - even overlooking the murderous wars against Iraq without any legal basis that cost probabily half million dead is the US support to Israel. Why oh why the US supports Israel? Furthermore this support is open ended.

On the contrary 10% of your population is black. Please tell me how much aid or grant you provide Black Africa? What is so darned important about Israel for you?

And I think ever since Eisonhower US democracy has slowly been taken over by big corporations. Big money now rules US with pretence of elections every 4 years. The candidates are all establishment figures with one grey against another shade of grey. The more I listen to Noam Chomsky the more he makes sense.

And to be honest I was American apologist when I first registered with PDF. I found the Pak anti US rhetoric tedious. I still feel it is not clever thing to revel in cheap rehtoric against US but frankly I now despise USA. Not the people, there are many fine and decent Americans but the American system amd state is a thoroughly odious, evil empire built on the rape, genocide of the Native Americans and profiteering through slavery.

America is good for Europe but for rest of the world it os only good for raping it. I think the only Muslim country that has benefited from USA is Turkey but rest of the Muslim world has been ripped to shreads by this evil empire. US has killed liberal Islamic movements, it has killed secular forces and has sponsored all the frankenstiens we see to day. Look what it did to Iraq, Syria, Libya and the list goes on and on. Just sickening to be honest.

I know China will rise to number one - I just want at number in the next decade - can't wait!

And Pakistan made many mistakes over the decades but one thing, one thing it got 100% bang on right was the alliance with China. It can only get better for Pakistan as China rises.
China has failed for the third year in a row to close the economic gap with the U.S., while its yearly growth rates continue to decline. Meanwhile, the U.S. Economy is set to pass 20 trillion in the next several years. Our military is only growing stronger as we begin our modernization over the next couple decades. We have world class companies, universities, and institutions. We're at the forefront of science, technology, and medicine. No country has the comprehensive national power of the United States, an I doubt that changes anytime soon. The rest of your post is worthless antiamerican drivel not even worth a response.

Show some respect to others once in a while, don't be like Trump.

That really did not deserve a negative rating. And the quip about Trump at the end wasn't necessary either. He doesn't even like Trump, and neither do most Americans.

Why would I show him respect? He claimed my country is evil and that we've raped the rest of the world. Our contribution in science, technology, and the progress of humankind alone elevates us above "evil." He should of stopped at "despise America." It's clear where he stands.

Dragon's just upset that I tell the truth. He and other Chinese on this forum can't handle that I offer points that counter the narrative of "China's unstoppable rise" they always peddle on here. I find it entertaining.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but America has been declining in terms of relative power every single year since 1991. The only way to stop that happening would be for the rest of the world to stop developing at once.

Why do you think America is so insecure if they were rising? It's because they are not, they are declining in relative power every single day that passes.

The same could be apply on yourself as well, all i have to do is just replace America with China
Don't you feel ashamed of what you've criticized others is exactly what you've been doing on this forum, full displace of "Hypocrisy" period

.

This is the official USAid site:
https://explorer.usaid.gov/aid-dashboard.html

Since I'm not sure which countries you specifically define as "Black" African I'm going to list them starting from the bottom of the continent.

Namibia: $43 Million
Botswana: $43 Million
Zimbabwe: $190 Million
Mozambique: $338 Million
Zambia: $245 Million

Central African Republic: $83 Million
Sudan: $147 Million
South Sudan: $838 Million
Rwanda: $246 Million
Kenya: $941 Million

Egypt : $1.5 Billion

I skipped some little ones
These are only numbers from "USAID". There are other US organizations giving money.

Obviously the US gives Africa Billions in aid EVERY year since 1961. That's over 55 years. Mass starvation, disease outbreaks, high infant/child death rates, and illiteracy were pretty common in Africa back then. Many people had pretty much nothing. Much has changed since then....now people have immunizations, better farming techniques, electricity, clean water, better sanitation, and housing. There are modern buildings and cars. But Africa is huge and you can throw a lot of money at it and still not help everybody.

How does this post deserves a negative rating ? This is nothing but blatant abuse of the forum's feature.

Iran is going to go nuclear
How is Iran going to go nuclear without refining Uranium?

Welcome to Indo/Iranian forum.
If these words were said by any Arab.. he would be abused, labeled xxxx and banned already.

Competition is not new to us Dragon. We've been there, done that. China is simply a new competitor, that offers a different set of challenges. As I said in my original post, no other country has the comprehensive national power of the United States. We're soon to surpass 20 trillion, and our military is only growing stronger as our modernization begins. That's not a country in decline. Our relative power is irrelevant as long as the gap from 1st to 2nd remains wide. That gap has fluctuated since WW2, but our position at the top has remained constant.

US military power is growing while China and Russia are getting weaker? US analysts claims otherwise, the gap is getting smaller according to their analysis. China and Russia's modernization are closing gaps and yet you are convinced they are widening. So who is talking BS you or those experts?

The US military is refocusing its efforts from the last 15 years of counterinsurgency operations back to near peer competition. During that time, China and Russia were able to close some gaps, mainly in the area of long range precision strike weaponry and regional battle networks. As a result of this, the DOD has introduced the Third Offset Strategy which will allow the US military to maintain overmatch. Our modernization has just started in the last couple years, and will continue over the next couple decades. We're seeing some immediate payoff now, with the introduction of advanced weaponry such as the tri-use SM-6, LRASM, dual use Tomahawk and ATACMS missiles, and SM-3 Block 2a missile. We've introduced advanced battle networks such as NIFC-CA which will enable us to see and reach targets at very long ranges. The F-35 will revolutionize air combat in its ability to fuse sensors and distribute information. In the mid-term our Virginia subs will receive the Virginia Payload module which will triple the number of Tomahawks it can carry, and undergo acoustic superiority upgrades as well. We've also begun our nuclear modernization with the B-21 bomber, Ground Based Strategic Deterrent, and Columbia class submarine programs.

These are just some of the programs underway. It's impossible to name them all. Trillions of dollars in investment will be spent on this effort. Of course, our competitors aren't sitting still either, but the US won't allow anyone to gain military overmatch against it.

With the ever rising astronomical US defence budget, i don't doubt US will continue to stay ahead in certain areas and keep the title as the strongest. China & Russia's budget are small compared your country but they spent it wisely. We won't be that stupid to try to gain overmatch because overspending is suicidal, just strong enough to deter US aggression is sufficient. Just look at DPRK, US don't dare lift a finger after China warned not to invade our neighbor while the US supposedly have an overmatch.
