Hi,

The terrorist strike in Chattanooga resulting in the death of 5 marines must be an eye opener for the governments of the world and the security agencies.

Finally, a much anticipated major terror strike has occurred in the heartland of the united states of America resulting in the deaths of U S military men. Much anticipated I write, because I feel that not much was done to stop this strike.

As I have written many a times here---terrorists need to dealt with severely---in the most ruthless and brutal manner that the state can come up with---. Anti terrorist activity needs an immediate action from the gitgo---. After the recognition of the location of their presence---starting with relentless heavy strikes that build up in momentum as the campaign grows---all quadrants of the escape and supply routes secured in order for them to be contained and dealt with in that certain area.

Recognizing who the leaders are----their location and means of communications are a major part of this campaign.

The callousness with which the current U S president has dealt with this problem is shocking---I am talking about the insurgence of ISIS---. For an armchair bandit like me---isis meant trouble right from day one. Its presence was fearsome---its strikes were brutal---its conquests fast and ferocious---its revenge against the captives took brutality to levels not seen for centuries.

And yet---the powers to be---just sat quietly on the side lines stating that it is not our problem---it is a local issue---. Then came the strike in France---issues in UK and then threats to the U S and ultimately the execution of the marines on the mainland USA.

Is this lackadaisical approach by the powerful nations by intent or is it out of sheer incompetency. What are the reasons for the failure to recognize the enemy and act on the information in a timey manner.

The question is that do you stop fighting your wars just because you are tired, mentally drained, you think that the military has had enough of it and we just simply want to bring our boys home.

Well---guess what---the enemy has thrown the U S military the challenge. It has succeeded in executing 5 U S military personal right at home and the challenge is now open to the U S Military and to the current U S president.

Mr. Obama has been humming and hawing and making all kinds of excuses to look at this problem in the eye and this time he cannot just look away from the issue.

All the previous statements of the U S govt regarding this issue that the arabs need to solve their problems and the arab states need to come up with a coalition army to tackle this problem of isis have just been smacked right back at the faces of the administration.

If the existence of isis needs to be tackled---it needs to be headed by the U S military and that also on a fast track.

The U S military and the U S govt need to stop blaming the muslims---the muslims did not create this monster. The U S created this monster ----the U S Needs to crush its head as well.

The attack in Chattanooga is nothing as emblematic as that, and there has been no link to ISIS demonstrated thus far. Lone wolf attacks were always a possibility, and this is one of them. The chances for the next attack can be minimized but not to zero. The domestic security situation will remain buttoned down while the international problems like ISIS are dealt with in areas where they are causing problems.

Hi,

First of all Eid mubarak to you sir.

And as always your post was very much detailed and precise.

Sir, there have been reports I am not sure how much authentic, but according one extreme school of thought that is, That US itself has been very lenient on them, perhaps as suggested by reports been one of supporters of ISIS tacitly.

I remember one instance where an Airdrop was MISTAKENLY (apparently) dropped to ISIS !
Isis apparently takes control of US weapons airdrop intended for Kurds | World news | The Guardian

What remains to be seen is, that if it's US's actual complacency ( tacit support) or US is actually gonna fight for ARABS ?

Hi,

There is no doubt that the monster that was created By US is quite ugly than Al QAEDA.
And no doubt that this one lone wolf attack can be used to propagate and to boost the morale of ISIS paving way for further recruitments.

Any attack on such military installation should not be taken lightly. As the attack on twin tower was not taken lightly, even though i'm still puzzled as how actually Al Qaeda did it, But this is the case where it well-known that the guys was recruited for ISIS. Hence an operation on ground level is not only requested from US military but is as it is the need of hour.

Looks like the US screwed up big time by removing Saddam Hussain. Yes he was brutal and a dictator but he looks like an angel compared to what these ISIS people are. Saddam kept everyone in line, and the downfall of Saddam let to the cluster fu** that is there in Middle East today. Saddam for all his shortcomings kept the peace.

True, But the authorities have termed it as a terrorist attack, unless proven otherwise.

"But FBI Special Agent Ed Reinhold said today, “At this time we have no indication that he was directed or inspired by anyone other than himself.” "

Jumping to conclusions or otherwise speculating may seem attractive, but premature at this time. Let's wait for the investigation to complete, which will surely be thorough.

Or...

Looks like the entire remake of the Middle East will proceed despite the costs.

I get that these people want revenge but going around killing US soldiers is going to make things even worse for Muslims.

Hi,

Thank you for the post---. Indeed that is a funny compilation by the FBI-----or the verge being overly stupid---. With all the hoopls that isis has created---recruiting thru media and internet----creating a fascinating illusion in the minds of the people---asking them to join in the their struggle---asking them to move to Syria / Iraq----and then they have taken this campaign to the next level---.

Just addressing the general public----to go on a rampage on their own---no cntact---no connection----no electronic signature---just be the one man army---just go and do your job----.

Hassan Ibn Sabbah all over again---the old man of the mountain has risen again----where the followers are just waiting----they don't even seek to be present in the company---just one of them picks up his weapon and lets lose and gives his life away----then another one and then another---.

This here is a classic case of a world wide insurgency riding on the waves of internet and social media where the Fedayeen are ready to sacrifice their lives without coming face to face with their trainers and handlers---.

It has reached that stage where the one giving their lives away do not need the permission to do the act and have one final good bye before leaving to get that final touch---the final contact of skin with the handler---the final look in the eyes of the trainers---without the final eye contact and bidding farewell---without the final pat on the back of the head---without the final blessings----and this is the most dreadful part of the workings of this death squad.

Isis has taken this game to level never known before and the Obama administration has its head stuck up its arse---.

You know the best helping hand is at the end of your arm---and if the job needs to be done right----then it is you who has to do it by yourself---and these excuses that we are hearing from everyone in the administration and TV media analysts about the arabs who need to do their own fighting----guess what the old news was that you did not want to believe in-----they cannot fight.

The arabs have no commitment---they have no cause----their high command is build up of lackeys and kiss arse followers who have no clue how to lead----.

The problem with the U S that it did not want its public to know that because they would be asking-----where the fcuk did our money go---the billions that we spent training these people and arming them---what happened to all the weapons that we gave them.

The thing is that Mr Obama is going to dump this problem that he created on the shoulders of the coming president---and by that time the things would be gone from bad to worst.

Anyone who predicted that something worse than Saddam Hussein was waiting in the wings is nothing more than a bullshitter. But since there is something worse than Saddam Hussein, the despots of the ME learned a hard lesson: Stay inside your borders.

Saddam and ISIS are two different issues altogether. I don't believe that crap like ISIS can just be given birth in a day. I think this was long in making and the WOT only supported its recruitment efforts to get people who became disloyal or disengaged with Al-Qaeda.

Taking Saddam out, had its own needs of that time and that has been discussed here many times. But terrorist outfits like Al-Qaeda and now its sister ISIS are a much bigger threat. I wish the US had stayed in Iraq with full force and would have taken out ISIS by now. At least from Iraq. But the Iraqi civilians wanted "democracy and civil rule" and wanted the US out. Well, too fukking bad. Now they should deal with it and take these crazy basterds out themselves. But the US should and probably will provide all the support it can to eliminate these barbaric people from taking any more areas or grounds.

The most important thing is that we do NOT want this ISIS shiit anywhere near the north Atlantic, period!! The Arabs can keep this crap between themselves and kill each other. I don't think anyone in the West cares or even should care. The problem isn't the West. Its the fukking funding the Saudis, UAE and Iran provide for their associated organization (sunni vs. the Shiite's). So let these people deal with each other. We should just safeguard our home and make sure that any of these freaking lone wolves and stuff out there, are captured way before they can do any damage inside our borders. That's it and that's what matters the most.

Sad to hear about the shooting in Tennessee. My prayers for the bereaved families, and the community that is wounded.

Sucks to be a Muslim on US specific social media, and apparently hate crimes may be on the horizon as a Muslim guy was beaten up at a bar yesterday. Ironic that he was at a bar with his friends where he was tricked into coming out and then beaten to a pulp while being called a terrorist.

To top it off, there are suggestions of internment camps for Muslims going around. Like the Japanese in the US during WWII

Pardon my french but that's just Fukccd up that they even mentioned internment camps. That is so wrong on so many levels...and just infuriates me to even hear people joke around with $hit like that.

Again, please excuse me @Oscar for my choice of words. But that's how i feel...
