What's new

Tourism boom in Bangladesh.

Yup, that's what I was talking about.

Those half a million tourists, if each one of them only spend 100 dollars, it's 50 million dollars of Bangladeshis spending in Bangladesh helping local economy instead of going abroad and spending it there.
i think human must visit all the globe freely sir . this planet is beautiful

Sea cruise ship journey from Cox's Bazar to Saint Martin's Island's new Eco-resort is becoming popular.

Foy's Lake is a popular travel destination within Chattogram city. This 320 acres lake and amusement park is a perfect urban recreational space.

Kuakata is now overflowing with tourists thanks to Padma bridge. It is now a 5-6 hours distance compared to previous 10-12 hours with multiple ferry crossing hazards.

Kuakata facilities need massive investments.

Right now it is a messy small town with tong-er dokan, nongra bazaars and fish markets right next to the beach.

But, but, our resident Mistri told us the Bridge would never pay off 😂😂😂

Hasina has made every single part of country accessible by road.

Next it will be accessible by rail.

Resulting in every single corner of BD being productive in some capacity.

We need Chinese investment.

Hopefully, USA won’t object 🤣🤣🤣

Hundreds of thousands of tourists flocked to Cox's Bazar beach taking the opportunity of 3 days long holiday starting from today. Not a single room remained vacant of more then 500 hotels and motels.

Domestic economy is in very good health.

Otherwise, hotel bookings would not be so robust.

Tourism boom and also the Padma bridge is collecting twice as much tolls as expected tells us that the economy is booming even at these tough economic times.

BD has surpassed that 6K GDP per capita PPP level at which the domestic population has enough income to be able to spend a little on more than just essentials of survival. It is now on 8K and we shall see a massive consumer boom this decade on top of robust exports.

With exports up, imports down and forex going up again, BD is in a good position again.

Sea beaches and hills are filling up with tourists. Lots of tourists at Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachari. Long vehicles queue at Padma bridge for Kuakata. Cox's Bazar is full.

That's what is predicted by HSBC and others. Bangladesh will see the steepest climb in consumer numbers between now and 2030 among the biggest markets when Bangladesh is expected to be the 9th largest consumer market in the world.
