Top US general says Taliban 'living in comfort' in Pakistan

No, you are literally making things up as you go along, that way you have an answer for everything, no matter how absurd.

No evidence exists for anything you've said.

In 1991, Pakistan's intelligence services stashed a massive cache of assault rifles and ammunition at a secret weapons dump in Spin Boldak, rushing armaments across the border as a (phony) deadline loomed for ending direct supply of their favoured combatants in Afghanistan's civil war.

Seventeen tunnels beneath the dump contained enough weaponry to arm thousands of soldiers.

Three years later, the Taliban broke the depot open and handed out rifles – still wrapped in plastic – to volunteers summoned from local madrassas, an incident documented in the authoritative book Ghost Wars.

And we're back to square one.

I am literally face palming right now. That doesn't prove your comment, neither the book, nor the article.

To this day, no allegation of Pakistan creating the taliban exist, not one. These allegations remain allegations, nothing more.

You refuse to accept statements by the leadership of Pakistan as sources.
Then there is no more to discuss.

Either You claim that Benazir Bhutto did not make these statements,
or You claim she was lying when she made those stements,
in which case You need to prove she was lying.
In a case where your word is against her word, you would lose.

An American poster depicting an Afghan Mujahedin, who were supported until they got
rid of Soviet agression, and then left to make their own future, as is expected from grown-ups.
Now the Soviets are replaced by the Taliban, which wants to enforce their agenda
on everyone in Afghanistan, destroying any semblance of democracy,
demolishing the future of Afghani women, while violating most human rights.
According to Benazir Bhutto, with the full support of Pakistan,
and quite obviously with the support of many here at PDF,
while adamantly denying the support between the hoorays.

Soviets were not invaders they were invited by Afghanistan govt to help them install communism US and CIA created Mujideens who were actually rebels and Terrorists if I used modern term and those Mujahideens later converted to Talibans All of their main leaders were funded by US
and you westerns still support terrorists in afghanistan

Afghanistan was a kingdom, until a series of coup d’etats resulted in a communist regime
led by a Soviet puppy, after the Soviets assassinated his predecessor.
That puts a different light to your bias, and it definitely makes the Soviets invaders,
in the eye of the world.
The first truly legal government of Afghanistan (although corrupt) is post 2001.

The Taliban are not the natural successors of the Mujahedin.
The US supported many different groups including the forces of Massoud.
Many of those Mujahedin leaders now are leading the Afghani government.
Some leaders like the Haqqanis are now top leaders of the Taliban.

The intention of the Soviets were to secure Communist dominance.
The intention of the West is to secure a working democracy.
I bet You do not see the difference, and is looking for Islamist dominance with repression
of everyone not sharing Your view.

i am glad you mentioned oppression western invading forces have killed far more Afghans than Taliban ever could
every month in an Airstrike they accidentally kill 100s of civilians

once again you need a serious assessment for mental health which is a growing issue in the current scenario. You have now resorted to he said she said. I never expected a book that has sayings of some people with a narrative that goes in one direction or better yet clapping with one hand.

It's a shame to see a diabolical state of what I call rimming America.

”Anti-government elements were linked to 2,080 civilian deaths (75 per cent of all civilian deaths), up 28 per cent from 2009, while pro-government forces were linked to 440 civilian deaths (16 per cent), down 26 per cent from 2009. Nine per cent of civilian deaths in 2010 could not be attributed to any party to the conflict.”

So much for Your claims...
Air Strikes are called by forces on the ground, in many cases, the Afghan Army.
That makes the ground forces responsible for the kills.
Number of civilians killed are not at all that interesting compared to the number of civilians killed as a results of attacks on purely civilian targets. Something Talibans are excelling at.
Something propagandaists like yourself are carefully avoiding such facts, when supporting evil deeds.

No sources showing the West wants a puppet regime
No sources for your claim of planned theft.
Just Your support for installing a regime which will torture and kill anyone not following their warped view of the world.

When a Prime Minister or similar makes statements in interviews it is not ”he said, she said”.
Disputing sources, without any motivation besides that you don’t like the story they are telling
is embarrassing.

Now it is a great example of running low on petrol and surviving on fumes. You see we began our discussion from the current state of affairs only to end up like an archeologist diging up the ground looking for sediment layers of the earth's past.

Does this book explain, how the taliban today have half of the country in their midst with US forces present their?
Does this book explain, how ISIS is emerging under the US umbrella just like it did in the middle east?
Does this book explain, how opium production was all time low to it being grown right next to bases of NATO troops?
Does this book explain, how the taliban were having Lunch in the US towards the end of the 90's negotiating a pipeline to be built by the US however it was awarded to a Argentinian firm (->9/11 US occupation afghanistan)?
Does this book explain how Hikmatyar a faction of the taliban is now roaming freely in afghanistan who till recent was wanted dead by the US?
Does this book explain, how Abdul Rasull Sayyaf a spiritual figure considered by Taliban and host to OBL is meeting Gen Nicholson?
Does this book explain, how provinces are left empty to freely allow TTP and their new branding of ISIS to nerture?
Does this book explain, how very serious allegations were made about ISIS getting helicopter ride to Tora Bora?

Does this book explain, your mental demise?
