Currently the skyscrapers are mostly (not mostly but every) residential and are scattered everywhere in Mumbai and their heights were reduced if they were supertalls which a huge percentage were because of proximity to Airport.

This is for example Lower Parel

NEW! TALLEST BUILDING Under Construction in ASEAN COUNTRIES (SOUTHEAST ASIA)!

.
Jakarta is currently building 16 office towers above 150 meters where the highest is Thamrin Nine with 380 meters high.

Highest building in Indonesia is being constructed. There will be two very tall towers in the areas. The towers will be constructed in Thamrin Nine complex which has 5.7 hectare land intended for office buildings, residential, hotels, sports, and entertainment.

The first tower height is 382,9 meter, with 70 floor above the ground and 6 floor underground. Tower 2 will have 300 meter height with 62 floors above the ground and 6 floors underground.

Thailand is a weird, weird country. They had more coups than elections, but the country is still in one piece, monarcy is still intact, and economy doing remarkably well, even attracting foreign money...

Yup, they are also the most developed Indo-China countries with huge margin of development if you compared to the rest of Indo-China region (Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia). Myanmar IMO has huge potency if they can short out their internal problem, particularly due to relatively huge population, huge landmass, and good and strategic geographical location.

I think having a monarchy is also one of the reason Thai people are still relatively satisfied (thus creating political stability and good security environment) despite being ruled by military because monarchy is still on the top and they are used to it, not to mention their previous King was quite charismatic, clever, and live quite long. I dont talk about current situation after their previous King passed away where the economic growth rate is quite low around 2 percent and the people start feeling less content on the monarchy and their half democratic system.

Yup, if we are talking about cities, China cities will surely dominates the number of skyscrapers in the world. Talking about China, are you living in North or South ? South China I think has better climate since it is basically in South East Asia region and as far as I know your country GDP is dominated by South China region provinces.
