Dear @Irfan Baloch , you closed the thread which entailed Lord Ganesh's idols made out of cow dung.

I have one question of you:
1. Why close the thread? I was rather enjoying the reactions of the Pakistanis. When you close such threads, you deny the opportunity for people to read and react - even if it is not the kind that you appreciate. And when that happens you deny them the opportunity for them to learn and change. Closing a thread ensures that no horizons are ever broadened and no changes to thought processes ever happen. No societies ever change by shutting down conversation - even if it gets ... unpleasant.

2. Watching the reactions of the Pakistnis, this was what I had written right around when you closed it and I could not post it. Here it is:

Its interesting. The Muslims here think that Hindus are defending or need to defend something.

Why? You stay happy with your rituals and fearing the God or whatever. Clearly that has brought peace and prosperity and happiness to you and everyone around you.

And clearly we are insulting God. Because for us, God's idols made out of cow dung or the most precious stones don't matter. What matters is the bhav of the maker of the idol and (much)more importantly, the bhav of the worshipper. And clearly you think this is wrong. Therefore as per your belief, we must be given unhappiness, misery and whatnot by the God.

Shouldn't both these things bring you joy? Yet all I see is that the Muslims are the ones who are getting angry, abusive and generally offensive. The Hindus are not.

What a wonderful world we live in. The irony is lovely.

Lastly, despite me enjoying the generally abusive behaviour of the Pakistanis, I have to say - I wish peace to all the ones who yell the loudest. For you are most unhappiest in life. What we say to others, is generally a reflection of inadequacies within.

No need.
I just realized. Reading my post gave my own lesson back to me. And going through my post history has confirmed it. The forum and the company is making me bitter, the very kind of person who I would not like - snarky and hateful of the 'other' with a matching superiority complex. Not very different from the 'frothing in the mouth & outraged' fellow Muslim forumers on the other thread.

I am learning less and speaking more. I wish to correct that immediately.
Thank you for your time @Irfan Baloch . I bid you and other members goodbye. May you all find happiness and peace. @Joe Shearer. @SarthakGanguly . Though divergent, both your views shall be duly remembered. I learnt much from the both of you.

Regards
