Tirah valley Khyber Agency Pakistan, taliban decimated, people are welcome to visit

Breaks the stereotypes that FATA is all barren and arid mountains...many areas like Shawal, Tirah and many more are as green as Swat and Kalam in KPK, even more wooded and natural. Ideal for a visit and exploration as not many tourists visits these areas.

Beautiful Pakistan Tirah bar qamber Khel maidan khyber agency

The Tirah region, also called the Tirah Valley is located in Khyber, Kurram and Orakzai agencies of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan while its smaller part straddles the border to the north lying in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. Tirah lies between the Khyber Pass and the Khanki Valley. It is inhabited by the Afridi, Orakzai and Shinwari tribes of pashtons

Beautiful Pakistan Tirah Valley, bar qamber Khel (Khyber Agency) in Winters.

The reason Taliban TTP chose these regions of Tirah, Shawal valleys are they were thick wooded areas full of jungles, natural water streams and many fruit laden trees were there as well, many areas were cool in the summers and lower maidan areas are not that harsher in winters. So it was a kind of self sufficient sustainable areas and people can liver here without getting any logistics from outside world.

For them the, TTP it was a proverbial paradise for them, the earthly paradise...

Now all these areas are with the locals and Pak Army has done a great job in clearing these areas. Now ideal for adventure tourism...

but wait for PTM's response.

PTM has no presence here...this is a no man's land(Ilaqa-e-Ghair). The wild west kind of area with their own rules and not Pakistan's.

Now very much under the radar and Pak Army control.

Also PTI is trying to get the FATA merger done with KPK...ASAP. This will make there voices and grievances heard in the local assembly, and will have perks and privileges to develop the area.
