In it's current form a pack of JFT's would be able to take out any large ship in enemy inventory but dubbing it as AC killer is far fetched.

Dude chill out, it's not as if a single JFT will be launched for such missions. It involves a whole package and we are not exactly talking about super carriers.

You know what is saturation attack from anti ship missiles, even USN can't stop all these kind of attack from supersonic/subsonic anti ship missiles from different angles from China/Russia @MUSTAKSHAF

That was a mock drill---no assets of the naval battle group would be protecting the A/C carrier---just the aircraft carrier itself---and that was over 45 years ago---.

Hi, and to follow up on Mr. MastanKhan's point, the Indian Navy is still a force to be reckoned with. They have a massive edge in SAMs and air defence capabilities. Most of these missiles will be shot down. The IN has invested heavily in intercepting anti-ship missiles.

Today it's very hard to kill aircraft carrier.we should not look in the past and glorify ourselves.we have to work very hard because all other nations are ahead in terms of technology.we have to start hard work by designing our own submarines and destroyers.past is past.i agree that killing an aircraft carrier is not easy and I don't want to talk about Americans.they are fantastic.they even designed laser weapons.we should learn lesson from other countries and we should work hard.jf-17 is the beginning of a new era but we must continue hard work and we should start more projects.
