There was a disgraceful man as Air Chief in 1965 who wrote, just before 1965 war, a letter to his IAF counterpart conveying his unwillingness to participate in the war...That's called a treason but we honoured him.
He resisted to participate in air operation against the enemy so the disgraceful man was forced to resign and he didn't even help the new air chief..
It is not the job of a soldier to make political decision and write letters to rival commander. If a war has been decided, you have to follow the commands.

Asghar Khan was air chief and he was made on resign by Gen Ayyub Khan in July of 1965 because he didn't want to participate in the air operations... Then Nur Khan took over and he did an excellent job. So stop saying BS about Yahya Khan or any other ... Asghar Khan was a traitor. It was not up to him to decide whether he wanted to join the war or not...He had to follow the commands.
What saddened me that he was given a full official burial on this death by PAF.

Flying those 50 years old Mirages in 2018 is a disgrace and also depicts that PAF top management does not value lives of fighter pilots much. There should be a revolt or collective boycott with in PAF pilots that not to fly these junks anymore.

With these so many junks in service and toothless F-16, which we even cannot use it to cross the border - PAF may well end up wanting when situations arises.
