In rallies organized by Muslim Brotherhood Friday, protesters nationwide burn Israeli and US flags, demand expulsion of Israeli ambassador

n rallies throughout Jordan on Friday, protesters called for an end to the 1994 peace treaty with Israel and for the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador from Amman.

The demonstrations started after Friday prayers and took place in seven cities across the Hashemite Kingdom, including the capital.

Protesters burned Israeli and American flags, and chanted “death, death to Israel,” and “the people want an end to Wadi Araba (referring to the Israeli-Jordanian peace treaty).”

The protests were organized by the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood and several youth organizations in response to the recent appointment by King Abdullah II of Fayez Tarawneh as prime minister. Tarawneh briefly served as prime minister in the late 1990s, and he was a key figure in the peace process with Israel.

The prime minister raised the ire of several political and social factions in Jordan recently when he indicated that he would still support the 1994 treaty.

“This is a person who obviously does not respect the people’s will and his words are proof of how out of touch he is with average citizens,” Jamil Abu Baker, a spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood, told DPA.

Most Jordanians consider the peace treaty with Israel a failure. Politicians and government officials in Jordan claim that Israel has not followed through with its obligations under the treaty, specifically regarding water sharing, Amman’s custodianship over holy sites in Jerusalem, and access to the Palestinian territories.

.
A vivid example for the irrational hatred towards Israel in the Arab world and in a country which has a peace agreement with Israel and close relations for decades.

This is why Israel should continue to be strong in order to survive in its troubled neighbourhood.

we are with Israel..Israel like India has always faced religious hatred from Islamic fundamentalism..Jews like Hindus are facing constant threat of extermination from this world..

India like Israel has to be tough if it wants to survive and thrive in its difficult and toxic neighborhood.

Even Iran had good relations with Israel until its current degenerated and extreme Islamic regime came to power. The Iranian people deserve a better life.

Yeah, the degenerated despots of ME all have good relation with the terror entity called israel and so did Shah Pahlavi of Iran.

.
These Jordanians must be real confused right now, "Should I support King Abdullah, or should I stand against Israel"?

King Abdullah, while he's been real nice and positive to the Jordanian people, is a slave of the western and Israeli elites.

And Iran's extreme regime is not a degenerate despot? What is the difference?

Israel has a peace agreement with Jordan, Israel gives its own waters to Jordan and its people, and Israeli tourists visit Jordan and increase the country's revenue, Why there is a need to hate Israel?

King Abdullah is a free Mason and member of Illuminati.

You tried to say that Shah was good and that's why Iran had relation with israel but the present leaders are despots because they don't have relation with israel. We understand very well what zionazis like you want to say. If the present leadership of Iran were despots they would have been ousted long ago the way your friend Shah and his goons were ousted by the people, get that in your thick skull.

Possibility of countries which have ties with Israel in Muslim World breaking it again specially after Arab Spring and if Palestine is attacked with full force again it will be last thing needed to break the ties

The Jordanians Forget the Black September When They Slaughtered the So Called Palestinians En Masse and Still Consider Israel Responsible for Palestinian Problems.

Infact Muslims have Killed More Palestinians than Israelis.
